For any of you veterans, do you think they will ship anymore Alternators this year ? I am new to this, so any input would be appreciated, I just missed them last time.
Thank you.

Hard to tell. But from the look of it, not likely. The Alternator line is in slumber(no new upcoming release announced for quite a while, since Ravage & Rumble), while the Japanese counterpart Binaltech is pretty much dead. There are selected few showing up in Walmart as dead stock that Walmart was trying to be get rid of last month or two, to make room for Movie toys. So for older Alternators being reissue is not very likely, and therefore, the skyrocketing price on a lot of them on ebay you see nowadays.

Doubtful. The best you can do is scour ebay and the carbomya forums for the ones you want, and pray for a good price.

The Alternator Line was officially terminated since some time before the Movie came out. The Final figure to see a release was the SDCC Online Exclusive Rodimus, a Repaint and Remold of Mirage.
No new molds or anything else will be made. So whatever you find is what there is. Either on Ebay, or whatever is left at stores. You might have luck at some online stores like BBTS

Shockblast AKA Shockwave is, arguably, the best Alternator! And a long awaited replacement for my Shackwave AKA Galactic Man rip-off.

Well worth tracking down and shouldn't be too expensive. I bought mine for £10 MIB!

Maybe in a few years if the brand gets enough hype, but for now hasbros not shipping anything tf related besides movie stuff.

I'm lucky to have bought the total of 2 I did (Original release Sideswipe and Cybertron packaging Meister/Jazz)
But I desperatly want Grimlock or Wheeljack or both. See the pattern?

Doubt it. There's already way too much demand for Movie toys right now.

Wharehouse overstock and oddballs in retail holdings.
Hasbro aint gonna do nothing themselves for the rest of the year, if ever at all with this line.

I wouldn't read too much into that generic response. What they're actually saying is: "In the past, these chains have carried our Alternators Line. If you're lucky, you might find a few left over or stuck in a bargain bin. Happy Hunting, HTS."
For the record, the N. Prime listing stayed on the website for several months after it sold out as a "you might also like..."

Haha. Right on on that interpretation. Just do some major search online everywhere you can think of. Then go back to ebay if you really can't find what you want. Haven't see any good or rare Alternators for a few months now. Think the last batch I saw randomly are Ricochet, Skid and Rollbar. That was it.

The store where I usually buy my TF's had binaltech tracks in both yellow and blue. And there was one ravage left. That was last week, I think they're all gone by now.
