What are the best Non-Masterpiece G1 Seekers? I want ones that are relatively articulated and tough. And that have good faces, and looks. But I don't know what kind there are, as I have mostly dealt with MP Seekers. Ah, the collecting bug must have bitten me...

Classics come to mind. But you'll have to shell out some serious money to complete the group.

Classics. The Robot Masters are pretty decent too, but not incredibly articulated.

If you mean actual G1 seekers, as in ones from the G1 line, they all have terrible articulation and have the same mold, except for the coneheads which have modified wings and tail pieces.

Otherwise, yep, Classics. But you won't be able to get Thundercracker, sadly.

Robot Masters are alright, but a little cartoony looking and lacking knee joints. It's pretty easy to find the whole set though.

Add me to the Robot MAsters choir. As awesome as the Classics Seekers are, the RM versions are underappreciated. They are of a slightly lower quality than the Classics, but are still pretty pimp.

The Armada seekers aren't bad. Kinda limited articulation in some spots, but overall nice, and will be easier and cheaper to get than a complete seeker set from the classics Mold.

Although if you are only interested in Starscream and Skywarp, the the Classics mold is the best one around.

Even I forget about those guys on occasion, but you're right. Together they're probably the most imposing group of the original seekers you can make. Skywarp being distinct from the rest is a bonus.

Yes, articulation in the arms is limited, but as display pieces, these guys rock hard.

Classics Seekers, though it cost you a lot to complete all six of them as Thundercracker, Dirge and Thrust were convention exclusives.
