I hopped in my car and drove to Best Buy.
Depends on your Best Buy, but some Best Buys already have put
them out on the shelves... Galleria Houston Best Buy has them
out already. It really does depend on your Best Buy though.
I stopped by another smaller Best Buy and they didn't have
them yet.
I was planning only to buy Ratchet, but after seeing Megatron
in person, he looks immaculate... the paint application on this
Voyager Megs is beautiful and the ice actually looks like
ice... I couldn't resist so I bought both Megs and Ratchet.
Retail 19.99

Thanks to fellow Seibertronians in Texas (mineralblue and videriant)! Looks like one of the Best Buy's in Texas has released the figures early before the DVD release date (10/16). I called a few local Best Buy's in Washington State and they all confirmed that they will be released on Tuesday

This is great news, can't wait till Tuesday!

Hey all! I work at Best Buy (in Minnesota), and wanted to let you know that our store received 3 boxes of these Transformers figures from tonight's truck... Each box contained two of each figure (for a total of 12 figures for us). There is no 'true' street date on them, but I'm pretty sure our store is holding off on putting them out until the movie release... (NOTE: I said "I'm pretty sure", that means, "I think"... I don't know for sure!)
Anyways, you already know that the price point for them is $19.99, but wanted to pass along the UPC's & SKU for the figures...
Megatron:
653569286868
Ratchet:
653569286820
The SKU for both figures is the same, and it's:
8367171
Good luck everyone! I know I'll have the Megatron in my hands as soon as I can -without getting in trouble w/ work!)

I only managed to check two best buys today. One had them, one didn't and it did look to be about 12 each.

and I take it you're planning on buying the DVD this week as well...
these past two or three weeks with the restocks, the DVD release, and now these two guys have definitely been more than meets my wallet.

That Voyager Megs looks interesting, but I still don't like the ice treatment. He's supposed to be "Megatron", not "Popsickletron" or "Freeze-a-tron". No wonder Megs is always p*ssed. He hasn't had a decent toy version of him since 1984.

I wasn't a big fan of the ice treatment either at first.. but if you're planning on keeping him MISB like me... he looks perfect... in robot mode frozen in his box... plus the ice looks like ice now... not like blue feathers as before...

^I'll definitely go and look for him. I like to see for myself since sometimes pictures don't do a figure justice. I do like his silver body, so that's a plus.

Good thing I have enough on my Best Buy gift card for the movie and one figure.

It's nice to save your Christmas presents.

these will have a shelf life of <1 hr. (or none if someone buys the case b4 they're put out) at BB here in LA. Scalper central. Good luck LA residents. Watch out for Scourge and the sweeps.

Go Now and get them cause they are moving fast!! Got mines today and there was 17 when I called the store but when I got there, there was only 6 left. So go get them now!!!

19.99 each. But Megs looks smaller to me

blkbitcloud1-
Were they already on the shelves or did you have to ask for them?
Thanks.

Wow, after doing the math on this one we all seem pretty screwed on these two.
roughly 10 per store (according to the Minnesota post)
average of 5 Best Buys per state (Here is WA we have 4)
50 times 50
250 for the whole country??
Now this is assuming every store gets one shipment? Probably not right?

Someone needs to hook me up with a metallic Ratchet. I never bought the original Voyager one, I've been waiting for this one the whole time.
I can't complete my Movie collection without him!

Actually, I snuck a peak at the ad for tomorrow...
Mr. Bond007 will be happy.... If you buy the movie, then you can get $5 off the figure! (You can get verification of this when your Sunday newspapers arrive, I'm sure!)
So, for those of you who've already purchased their Voyager figure, bring the receipt up with you to Customer Service when purchasing the DVD, and they can get you your $5!

I already posted this somewhere but here it is again.
When I bought them yesterday the cashier told me I could get a price adjustment $5 if I bring my receipt in on Tuesday. There were about 11 of each on the shelves when I got mine yesterday and three each when I checked again today so I don't think they'll make it to Tuesday. All the other best buys have not put them out yet.
FYI, I can name 6-7 Best Buys within 50 miles of me and I'm sure it's the same in Dallas so there's probably closer to around 750 of these suckers running around. j/k

From Yahoo Finance, as of march, there were 822 Best Buy stores. Probably closer to 850 by now.

I called a local Best Buy and they said they didn't get these yet and should be getting them on Tuesday. I gave the SKU and they said they'll be getting four of them, don't know if that means boxes or just four.
These shouldn't be too rare, I used the Store Locator and found 16 in my state (Washington).
