Just wondering how many of you open your TF's, and how many of you keep them on the card or in the box?

if they are in a box by themselves i take them out. If they are multi packs i like to keep them in box. thats just the way i do it.

To date, all of mine have been removed from my packaging. I can't see that changing anytime soon unless I suddenly wind up with way more money, ie. enough to buy doubles.

I open most of mine but there are some exceptions. If it's a mould I've already got (duplicate or repaint) I sometimes keep it boxed, and I've kept all of my eHobby stuff boxed too. Generally I keep it boxed if the figure is worth more to me as a collection piece than a toy.

i've opened all of them so far, with the exception of SDCC Titanium Menasor. I have Rodimus so I already have one of the mold displayed, and since he's an exclusive, it might be worth keeping wrapped.

I don't think I've ever opened a toy for the last 10 years.. This includes about 40 Transformers, probably a good 25-30 Star Wars toys, McFarlane's Anime lineup that came out a few years, and tons of anime toys ranging from Evangelion to others.
I suppose I never have the temptation to really minglewith them, and just treasure mint boxes (C8 and better) as they will upkeep their value incase I'd ever opt to sell it (though I have never considered this).
Sames goes for my comics - once their bought, I pop them in sleeves and never open them.
I'm surprised nobody has responded saying they keep theirs in the packaging, with so many TF stores online charging premiums for C9 or better packaging, etc.

if i wanted a display piece, i'd buy a statue/bust of a toy. keeping them MISB is not a good reason for buying TFs.

For me I've always bought TF toys because I wanted to handle and transform them. I never really thought of keeping them mint and selling them later. I buy it coz I want it and maybe someday pass it on down to my kids

I open everysingle one. The only one that I keep in the box, but I open the box frequently and take him out, is reissue soundwave. He looks nice in the box.
