Posted: Sat Oct 13, 2007 9:17 amNo, it's genuine. Whenever Takara releases a reissue they also create e-Hobby exclusive "companion" pieces, usually in colors that have some significance. In this case (and most cases), those were Diaclone colors. They're portrayed as new characters in the G1 line, but in Diaclone, they were nothing more than piloted mecha.
As an added note, for most of the "e-Hobby reissues" the numbering counts down instead of up. As of now, the counter is on 65 with the cassette Flip Sides.
