In the G1 line why didn't they, make characters like warpath and powerglide or even beachcomber into, normal size figures instead of minibots.

Because in my own opinion, i would of liked to see a Prowl size warpath, because in the cartoons, they weren't exactly small in comparison to the other transformers.

they didnt really 'make' any of the characters origonally

THey were all from differnt lines, it wasnt untill the post movie figures when origonal figures were designed for the line

just hope that the classics line gives you some of the minibots you were craving in a more fitting size

To elaborate: the figures from 1984 and 1985 were all originally from Japan, and came from multiple different lines. Most came from Diaclone (the vehicles and jets, Dinobots, Insecticons) and Microman (real life objects and Minibots) and date back till 1980 or so. Hasbro merely imported them into the US under one line, and Marvel created the characters and the story around them.

...and that pretty much explains the difference between the G1 toys and their cartoon representations...the toys were made first, and scale were taken into account later.

:MAX:

That oredy happened, them being so popular was the reason Hasbro bought them.
