Has anyone seen any reviews on the Music Label Convoy? I'm curious what the sound quality is like. I've been looking for an iPod dock, and if this is any good, then I'd love to get it. Does any know if this also charges or just functions as a speaker?

I'll keep you in mind when I have mine sent from BBTS.

It's still sitting in my POL. I'm kind of waiting for more Joe stuff to come in before I send it.

Not to derail the thread or anything, but what does the Pile of Loot at BBTS do? How does that work?

I'm pretty interested in the Convoy since it looks pretty neat, and I want to get some speakers for my iPod anyway.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but, the Pile of Loot option lets BBTS collect your stuff as it comes in before they send it out to you. For example, if you order a MP3 Soundwave that they have in stock and a Starscream that they don't, they will hold onto Soundwave until Starscream comes in. That way you save a bundle on shipping.

That's about the gist of it. They used to send everything to you as it arrived (with pre-orders), and that caused shipping to add up along with receive many small shipments.

The POL let's you 'horde' things until you decide you want them sent. Then the shipping combines.

Just be aware that you pay the moment when you put something into your Pile of Loot, except for pre-orders, those you pay when they get in stock (POL always makes me think of PlayOnline). It prorates shipping if you already have something in the pile. Giving back items from the pile gives you store credit, you don't get the money back.

I personally like the Pile feature very much, I'm an international customer, so shipping costs get very high very fast. This way I can combine better and manage better what arrives when.
I'll suggest such a feature to my European supplier, MP Megatron (unmodded) went out of stock 5 days before I ordered since I wanted the shipment during a specific week. I'm still mad, at least I got Kiss Player Prime.
