Why'd you wanna put your toys in the sun anyway? But since alternators is mostly die cast I don't think it'd be too affected by the sun.

Binaltech is die-cast. Alternators is plastic.

I DON'T wanna put my toys in the sun, its just that, when I'm at school, and when its hot, I want a breeze so i open up the windows, so then it affects my entire room... so all my toys are in the sun, which pisses me off, I have no where else to put it...

Yeah so it won't effect die cast right?

probably not, but why don't you put a partition or something if you are going to have window open?

Sunstreaker need not worry of yellowing. :)

White Transformers need the most care. The sun will affect plastic, and even painted toys, so your metal Binaltecs need to be away from direct sunlight as well.

i've read in a thread like these before here that direct sunlight will be the most damaging to plastics, especially white ones. if you keep your toys out of direct sunlight you might be safe...but in the end, plastic will always turn yellow, direct sunlight or not.

:MAX:

You could always drape a sheet or something over them to protect them

Lol…The sun is an issue that always bothers me as well, a couple weeks ago I moved my collection to the darkest part of my room and I am still nervious that the sun might affect the plastic. I would hate to see my Jetfire succumb to that awful yellowing.
