Hi guys, i already did a review on Movie Jazz however you can't post any pictures of him in the review area of the toy
galleries, so enough with the chit chat and I'll start. Oh by the way, I'll give you info if you wanna buy a transformer i am currently reviewing.

Alt mode:8
Yes an eight for this guy. I am really sick and tired of people complaining about "oh, it's Grey and i give it an instant zero, so, stay away from it i hate it because it's Grey!" Well that's what i thought coz the rims on his wheels are silver... okay...
Detailing not that much here but he has the Pontiac (yes he is a Pontiac sorry for not mentioning at the beginning) Badge on the front. But if you have Movie deluxe Jazz, look closer at the blue windshield, you can two seats and half a steering wheel?Also the Weapon can be put in in this mode.

Transformation:5
This doesn't mean it gets a low point but it means how easy the transformation is. Anyway the Automorph is, when you pull the roof section down, his head pops up, the sides of the grill, the ones with the yellow headlights in it will move in the grill and the grill pops out. While in my mind, if Scorponok has an alien mode, i found this...

Death to all who hates oldie music!

Robot mode: 9
A very detailed robot mode! Next to prime, Jazz is one of the transformers keeping in touch with their g1 counterparts,Hasbro even put a fake wheel on the sides of his feet. I love the pipe like detail on his legs. The shield can go on any of his shoulders as well as the small Gun sword can fit on a hole coz the gun sword has a peg on it, those connect. His arms are really rabbit-ish with a gaping hole!Chest is a bit too wide here as well compared to the movie one.

Info:
Weapon 1: gun sword
Weapon 2: shoulder shield
Primary color: Grey
Alien mode based on: Scorpion
Balance: 7 1/5
Class: Deluxe
Final rating: 8

Pros

1= Fair articulation
2= good detailing
3= easy transformation but i think they could've make it a bit harder.

Cons

1= Strange arms
2= Chest is a bit too wide.
3= Why not silver but the Grey's okay though...
4= Fake wheels are sometimes blocking the back wheels when in alt mode.

Final thoughts:
A great figure to have even though most people hate him but i am happy with this version of movie Jazz. It could've been better but this one's okay. Get him if you are a Jazz fan or you just got really interested in the movie line.Not the best figure to come but hey, you can't have anything so if you see him, get him! What about you guys? What do you think of him in your opinion? Post it here now! :D

He is not bad. To bad he got thrashed in the movie.

I quite like Jazz and his bunny ears. I do not like his joke arms or the fact that his leg movement is crippled by the car doors getting in the way, they should have folded out of the way somehow.

He is 6/10 figure for me. Could have done better, see me after class.

rats! i can't believe this toy has become a VHTF item here in our country. heck, see FB Jazzes selling below SRP by guys who are desperate to have this! i'm also kinda desperate to add this toy to my movie Autobot collection, and would love to kick myself in the behind for passing him up a few months ago when he was still abundant in retail. :oops:

:MAX:

Whoever designed the arms on this figure deserves to have something very, very nasty done to them.

Whoever designed the detail on the lower half of the robot mode deserves a medal.

If they were designed by the same person, give them a medal and then do something very, very nasty to them (as nice as the detailing is, the punishment for those amrs should be the bit they remember most).

I do actually really like this fig, a lot more than I thought I would. The detailing is fantastic, and the automorph feature is a cute touch - it actually took a couple of turns before I noticed the grille collapsing!

The articulation's not actually that bad; you can't bend the knees as much as you might like, but they're not locked by any means - if you just rotate the lower legs by a couple of degrees, the doors aren't in the way anymore.

There are basically two things about fig I'm not happy about. First is the hands; as has been said, they pretty much look like toothpicks, and I'm sure something better than that could have been designed. With inspiration from Servo, though, I'm working on fixing that.
The other is that while the weapon can be stored in vehicle mode, it can't be hidden. The only place to stash it is on the spoiler, which is great when he's playing RoadBlasters with the 'Cons, but inconspicuous it ain't.

Also not yet mentioned is a cute little bonus that ThunderThruster found when he was messing with mine; the shield, which can either be used on his shoulder or left on his back, has a third use. The instructions don't mention it, but the clip that locks the shield to the car can also hook onto Jazz's gun when it's 'in his hand', to form a sort of blast shield.

I'd probably give it something like a 7, hopefully going up to 8 once I've fixed the hands.
