Only some are pretty good.
Darth Vader/TIE Adv, X-Wing/Skywalker/ Grievous/Wheelbike are pretty accurate.
As for the rest, not really.
Except maybe Death Star Vader and Turbo Tank Cody.

I think they're all pretty ugly.
If the robot modes were better executed I'd be interested. But then for some reason I feel if I included them in my collection it would cheapen it somehow with the crossover. Nothing against Star Wars at all, but I'm a Transformers collector.

QFT. I think the idea behind them is fine, just the execution on a lot of them has been lacking. Some very lazy transformations with masses of kibble just getting folded behind the robot mode instead of really doing anything.

I'm a Transformers fan. I'm a big-time Star Wars fan.
I thought the Star Wars Transformers was a lame idea. I have a few of them - I leave them in vehicle mode. Robot mode just doesn't do anything for me.

The figures are ok. IMO Saesee Tiin, Death Star Vader, and Darth Maul are probably the best in the line. All have really good vehicle modes but the robot modes have weird articulation, have difficulty standing up, and some have horrible kibble storage issues. If you can find them on discount/sale then they aren't so bad but for $14.99 there are better TF figures out there.

I always find myself thinking...
"hahahahahahahaahahhaahaa. Stoopid Star Wars collectors are getting really jipped with those things!"

They suck, and I don't want to give Lucas any more of my money to make him richer.

They could've and should've been terrific. Vader/Tie Advanced is the only one that looks good in both modes. More than one Star Wars fan has failed to suppose that the Tie Advanced is a Transformer, even when it's in context with other Transformers. In Vader mode, he's not kibbly.
I also like the TF Millennium Falcon, not because it's good, but because it's so darned weird!

I work with a hard core Star wars fan and I am the same but with transformers and we both think...
They suck the hind nipple of a goat totally lame, star wars fans do not want transformers and transformers fans do not want star wars and top it off they are poorly done...
For the few that love both sorry and welcomed to nippleville

All the Star Wars/TF stuff is horrible. Stupid idea. They might as well run up with a club and try to beat the crap out of you and take your wallet. I could respect that more.
Imo...It is like combining Hip Hop and Heavy Metal. STOP IT!!!

people are incopmpitent enough already

I plan on getting the Death Star because it looks so damn cool. In anticipation of that I got Luke Skywalker / the X-wing. It's a nice little set in my mind.
So that was the worst Transformers I've bought in a while. He can't even hold his light saber very well. Maybe I'll set it up so that Vader looks like he's throttling Luke.

Blending Star Wars and Transformers is like taking prize-winning cheesecake and mashing it up on top of a plate full of lobster tails. Both are awesome dishes...just not together. Talk about a friggin merch blitz. They should feel bad for screwing kids out of thier money

I collect them and I actually enjoy them! However, they are not displayed with my other Transformers. Just Star Wars Transformers and the rest of the Transformers...
I like spaceships... and now we have spaceships that can transform. I don't care they are called Star Wars...

Wow quite a bit of hate for these in here. I think they are a lot better than most folks give them credit for.
I have a few of the SW TFs and I really like the ones I bought. The others I really don't like so I didn't get 'em. Simple as that. (but then, that's how I treat ALL the TF lines)
I really like the ARC-170 ship, and the Jedi starfighter. I also have the General Grievous cycle thing, which is a lot cooler than I thought it would be.
I'm probably gonna repaint them at some point because all of the ones I got are pretty generic ships with pretty generic bot modes (unlike, say an X-Wing or Darth Vader). Someone repainted some Jedi fighters into the G1 seekers a while back. They looked really cool!
http://www.tfmaster.com/gallery_rp0073.phpI'll probably get the death star too if it ever goes on sale. I figure it'll look good next to Primus.
Bottom line, I'd say get one you think you'll like and see if the style/quality/whatever works for you. If it does, buy some more.
