So I woke up late and missed the Best Buy figures! So I called back to Iowa and luckily a friend was willing to check on his lunch break. Turns out they had a TON of these at the MOLINE, IL BEST BUY.
Here's the weird thing, my buddy said that a Best Buy employee told him to come back later in the day because they would be putting out Optimus and Thundercracker.
I told him that is most likely a mistake because it would've been announced previously. Then he tells me the underside of the boxes show "ALSO AVAILABLE: Optimus Prime and Thundercracker".
So those figures will most likely be the next two that will received the metallic re-finish. As far as them appearing at your local best buy "later today", don't count on it.

Best buy sucks. They only allowed one fig per customer (which is good actually) so my freind couldnt pick one up for me at store open. I managed to get to a best buy at noon, and they and every store in the city were sold out of them in 5 minutes. Most of the stores only received FOUR of each figure!!! Yet they have the balls to put it in the weekly sale ad... I HATE when companies do that (I'm looking at you, CompUSA).
I asked if any more were getting put out later today, he said no they sold all they had. He said there are another 3000 total at the warehouse (though this was coming from some pimply-faced blueshirt a**hole, so who knows if it's fact), and that they may get some more at some point.
Screw that. I've had it with having to treat TF collecting like going on a safari, having to hunt the stores 4-5 times per week in the hopes of finding what I want. I jumped on ebay and paid the scalper scumbags $30 for a best buy megs. Hasbro is seriously pushing it with me. This "exclusives" bulls**t is seriously angering me. Try keeping your "non-exclusives" stocked and on the shelf first, geniuses.

How many total would you say they had? I'd be willing to bet they are gone by the end of the day.

I saw at least 10 ratchets because I looked through the pile to get the one I wanted. they had some on top of the display and more on the shelves with the DVDs. I only saw about 4-6 megs.
This was at lunchtime no idea about now.

The BB guy on Cobb Pkwy Atlanta was an idiot. As I looked at Ratchet, he was pimping the Megatron figure and said, " hey man, you know, they don't normally offer Megatron in that size-only the bigger one. It's limited to just us. You can get Ratchet in that size anywhere." I bought Ratchet.

my friend is going to check again after work, he is adamant that Optimus Prime and Thundercracker will be there. He is not a TF hunter though, and was obviously mislead by some employee.
He is making the trip though, not me, and if he should happen to be right.......... ;D
Good luck to all that are trying to find these awesome figs!!!

I'll believe it when we see it. I just can't believe BB will get 4 of these figures when Target and WM are really the darlings of Hasbro.

I was at my Best Buy when it opened (I was afraid they would go quick) and they had 8-10 of each figure. I didn't stick around to count, just grabbed Megatron and the movie and left.
Weird thing was, there were some other people waiting on the store to open but no one else stopped at the TF display.

My local bestbuy had about 7 or 8 total. Store opened at 10am, and they were gone when I got there at 9:57, go figure. Could have probably fought a mom and kid for the last Ratchet that someone put back.

Echoed entirely. Once again, Best Buy is dishonest to its customers, and provides service so poor that WalMart would blush.
I was unable to get either Exclusive. They (resentfully)allowed me to order one of each, but I get a sinking feeling that I'll never receive the phone call when they do arrive.
And I agree wholeheartedly that this Exclusive BS has to stop. Hasbro seems to be going out of their way to alienate collectors anymore.
Retail is not freaking rocket science, Best Buy. It is almost Novemeber. Stock your freaking shelves. Two hundred copies of the DVD, four Exclusives. Makes perfect sense...

I arrived at our BB just in time to see a nice old lady cart off the last remaining Megatron and two Ratchets, leaving behind only a single Ratchet as a sort of mocking consolation prize. I really wanted the Megs and could've cared less about the Ratchet, but when it's the only one left...
Today I am a sad panda.

I'm in Athens today so it was the store on Atlanta Highway.

The other two voyager figures on the bottom of the exclusives is just the regular packaging. Notice the Megatron in the box and the one pictured are not the same? Its just the same box, just folded differently ito a new package. There are no Thundercracker, Optimus, or Rescue Ratchet coming in Metallic finishes later today. Hasbro's site has made that entire page dedicated to these "premium figures" and as soon as they decide what figure to do next, I'm sure they'll tell us. Or some crooked Hasbro employee will leak the information with some bad cell phone picture proof. 'Till then, its just the very scarce Megatron & Ratchet.

I don't think at this point they planned on releasing more. If you look on the side of the box it says its a voyager so those are probably just the normal voyagers it is talking about.

My best Buy only had one of each, damn employees probably got the rest. Unless I find them for retail I guess I will never own them because I refuse to buy from scalpers on ebay.
