TFCC Airazor and FK Transmetal Airazaor question

I am considering purchasing the Fox Kids repaint of Transmetal Airazor, but I dislike her head. Would it be possible to remove the head from the TFCC Axalon Airazor and attach it to the Transmetal version, and do the colors match? (They do, from what I can see from pictures, but I want to be certain.)

Bump. (If topic bumping is against the rules, I apologize.)

TM Airazor's head is on a simple ball joint, so it should be relatively easy to remove; however, it doesn't look like the Collector Club's figure's head is on a ball joint, so I don't like you can switch the heads that way.

Apologies if that's not much help.

From what I can see in the gallery, TFCC Airazor's head is not a ball joint, so that may pose a problem. Would it be possible to modify the TM Airazor's neck balljoint to accommodate a swivel head? (I am assuming that that is wha the TFCC version uses.) I also still need some information on whether the colors are compatible.

Well, when TM Airazor transforms, her head rotates down into her chest, so you'd have to modify the whole chest piece to accommodate the new head and joint. I can probably be done, but it'll take a lot of work.

If you just want to attach TFCC's head to the neck portion of TM's balljoint...I suppose that could work, but you might need to file down TFCC's glorious antenna for the head to fit in the space it needs to.

The Fox Kids version has very light colors, mostly yellow on the chest, and no brown, so you might have to do some repainting to get the colors right.

Also, is the Fox Kids version the only one you can get your hands on? The other two decos have much better paint schemes IMO(which doesn't matter if you're going to repaint it anyway *wink*wink*). Either way the figure itself is astoundingly mediocre, so I wouldn't advise breaking the bank on it.

I see what you mean about the TFCC head making it so that you can't correctly transform the figure. I guess one could pop her head off when one wished to transform her, but that would probably wear down the plastic over time.

The only reason I mentioned the FK version was because, from what I could see on TFU.info, I thought it had similar colors to the TFCC version, but I was wrong. What I will probably do is get the regular paint deco version (Its the only one you can find on eBay.) and learn to love the head, and maybe, one day after I have some kitbashing experience, I will pick up the TFCC version and try to kitbash the TFCC version's head on and do some serious repainting. Thanks for the help! :D
