I was just looking at my Classics Ramjet and wondered how Hasbro could go about giving Dirge & Thrust the Classics treatment.

Hasbro has told us it is costly to retool a mold. So with that in mind would anyone except Ramjet repainted as Dirge and/or Thrust if it meant getting them in the Classics line?

I know I would! I hope Hasbro even knows that we'll take a third repaint of the Starscream/Skywarp mold if it meant getting Thundercracker.

I could possible take Dirge as a Ramjet repaint, but Thrust has to be a remold. Anything else would be as rediculous as all the white Prime's being called Magnus.

I believe the wings are a separate piece (John Knowles, anyone?) from the rest of the figure. They could potentially be remolded while keeping the rest intact.

Of course, there's negligible difference between Ramjet and Dirge other than color, so I doubt it would make a difference for him.

Whoa MacrossFA19!! Nice work on those seekers. Your kitbash for Dirge confirms my suspicion that Ramjet could be a repaint for Dirge. Your kitbashes also support the fact that Thrust would have to be a retooled mold of Ramjet to look at least close to Thrust. Again, Nice work though!

I'm almost possitive the other three(4 if you count Sunstorm) will be BotCon exclusives. It's been said that they will be Classics molds, so what will the others be? But that's another topic.

the whole botcon exclusive stuff does irritate me. I can't go, I can't dream of going.

But I just got ramrod out of his package and he's pretty cool.
