Voyager Blackout Not Big Enough In Robot Mode?

As soon as my brother got Blackout we thought he was really big in his vehicle mode (helicopter).

But every now and then since we have had him for the last past few months. I get annoyed when he is in Robot Mode. Ratchet is almost twice his size!

Blackout should be more bigger a toy like he was in the movie.. . anyone else get annoyed by this?

It's because of his useless backpack, half of him is in that untransformable hunk of plastic.

Bothers me to no end, I am really ticked off about it, not for scale reasons or anything, purely because he is priced at Voyager, yet is only of Deluxe size.

haha, it bothers everyone who has him. That's why people have been rallying for a leader class blackout, because he's pretty badass, just wayy too small. My friend was so dissappointed when he transformed him and saw how small his head was

Shoot, Blackout should have been Leader class from the start! And Bonecrusher as a Voyager. Oh well. Despite them both being mini-me's of their true selves, they are still nice toys.

Feel your pain. At least Ultra class size. The head sculpt is way2small. Deluxe class heads are even bigger. :-x Cybertron Evac is still a more solid design compare to Blackout.

you've hit the nail right on the... well you know :) That's the one thing that forever sticks out like a sore thumb... the tiny size of his freaking head. When you stand him next to other figures, including Deluxes, you're reminded of just how damn small he is.

Without that backpack, he'd be a tall Deluxe.

Incidentally though, consider that the price we pay here for a Deluxe is the same as the price you pay there for a Voyager... :-(

haha, for people like my friend, that price is somewhat justified, thought not totally because of the lack of size. Why? cuz blackout has a huge weapon, and my friend is a sucker for huge weapons

I hate blackout's size. But his design sucks too, making him a crappy toy all around. He got screwed. And he got thrown in a tote here and hasn't seen the light of day for months.

His weapon is a disappointment and it's a shame that his scale has been goofed up. It doesn't really affect me, though, as I have only a few movie toys so compared to other lines he doesn't look so bad.

He's an okay toy if you get the 2-pack. In Canada it's $30 so $15 for Blackout and 15 for Scorp. Deluxes cost $15 too so it's not too bad, but I'd never pay $15 for Scorp normally. :-P I like the Blackout toy, hope we get a Leader because I'd buy one..

I heard there were tons of quality control issues with Blackout?

Personally I think they didn't plan a leader figure for him and did one for Brawl instead because they naturally expected a tank toy to seller better. They didn't realize how popular the movie would make Blackout.

I wish his colors were darker though. I'd still buy him, if I could find him. :(
