Blackout legs

Is anyone irritated, like me, because the legs of Blackout in helicopter mode keep falling down?

For some reason, Blackout's legs don't stay fastened or clipped to the roof of the copter. They keep falling down to make for a helicopter with its bottom falling off.

Anyone with the same experience? What did you do?

Mmm, nearly all of them do it I think. I built up those little pegs with some clear nail polish and let it harder. Fixed him right up.

mine is kinda loose, but stays pretty sturdy. but if you shake it with some force then it would fall. i know exactly what you mean.... i think his legs are too heavy for them to be connected like that.

Mine's a little bit different than that. In all actuality, my legs can stay just find folded up in chopper mode, even with a violent shake. Only problem is...

Folding his legs up and pegging them in chopper mode causes his automorph and his head pops up to say hello. If I push the head back in, the automorph triggers again and the legs pop off their pegs.

I've found a somewhat annoying temporary solution that works well. One of the clear rubber bands he had on him in packaging. Since I am way too lazy to take him apart and remove the... Spring? That causes the automorph. I think if he didn't have the automorph, he'd be a lot better figure.

I agree, his automorph is a nuisance. I have the same problem; if I fix the legs in they stay but the automorph activates and if I then fix the automorph the legs pop off again.

I swear, I'll take him apart one day and take out the automorph. Maybe that'll fix him...

It won't unfortunately. The spring isn't the problem so much as the gears on the cockpit not setting correctly. I've tried repeatedly to reset the gears(with and without the spring), but it never stays fixed.

I could just suck though, so please give it a try and let us know how it turns out!

Thanks for the tip! I tried using Elmer's glue, but the fried glue just broke off after a couple of transformations. I hope the dried clear nail polish will be more permanent

By the way, I went on Youtube to look for transforming Blackouts, and I found this. He had exactly the same problem as I do.

Hmm, I keep hearing about these problems with Blackout, yet mine is fine in all areas. Guess there was one or two batches that came out fine.

I know EXACTLY what you're talking about, and as of now have not done anything about it. Whenever they fall out, I just push em' back in. :)
