Woohoo! Just opened the guy. Look so sweet in car mode. While I usually just buy my one favorite version of the car models I like, Laserwave is the only exception, when I already have the Red Jazz/Meister, aka. Zoom Zoom. But my Decepticons ar really getting outnumbered, with only Megatron, Nemesis Prime & MP3 Soundwave, I really want to get Laserwave, since he is such an important character. And to my surprise, when looking in the TF Guide Book, Shockwave/Laserwave actually has really high stats (even though sometimes those mean nothing really). And I start to like the Mazdaspeed RX-8 a lot. It even got gun metal rims when I thought they were black on photos online.
Haven't even transform it yet, but I pretty much know what to expect from a RX-8. But man, the BT diecast & paint job is just lovely!

Just transformed the guy, turned out it shares the same issue with Jazz. The weak heel that is not tight enough to support its weight. The heels tend to collapse too easily, making the figure not standing very well. Guess I'll have to take apart the legs and do some superglue trick again.
Love the mono eye. The light piping is done so well (receiving light from the top too) that its like a glowing LED light inside. Pretty awesome.

Lazerwave is one of my favorite BTs, it's a great mold with a great paint job which suprising works really well as Lazerwave (Shockwave). Im not a big fan of may of the Decepticon BTs but this one is as close to perfection as your going to get from this line. Congrats.

Yeah. I am really liking what I am seeing, with only the loose heels needing a fix. Everything else is fine, minus a couple paint chips out of the box as always. I was so set on Jazz before that I had totally ignore Laserwave/Shockwave when it came out. But now that BT is done for sure, I want to acquire him for the Decepticons, and most likely be my last BT purchase until the toyline rivive somehow (if that ever happens that is...).
It just look very awesome like you said.

Yeah, BT Laserwave is one of my favorites, too. Right behind Smokescreen GT.
Also, my Laserwave's heals are pretty tight, but he's still very top heavy. I have to position his upper body forward slightly or he has a tendency to fall backwards. He's still a great figure, though.

I have no problems with my BT Laserwave. I think the RX8 design is one of the best 2 in the BT line and his paint job and body kit over Meister really does the trick.
The RX8 BT figures made me like the RX8 so much I went and bought the real thing.

Yeah I love my Lazerwave too. He stares at me all night and keeps watch over me. He makes me feel safe in an opressive kindda way.

I actually have both the Binaltech Laserwave and Alternator Laserwave(I might sell the Alt). He's always been my favorite in the Alt/Binaltech line.
My Binaltech Laserwave has the steering wheel on the left hand side while my Alt Laserwave has it on the right hand side. LOL

Got my Laserwave fixed on the heels. They aren't super loose, but loose enough that it can collapse on its own if I handle it, so don't want any shelf diving incident to happen. Gave it a lump of dried superglue and some tape inside the joint swivel, now its really snug tight like my fixed Jazz. And he can pose however he wants now without any top heavy issue since his heel is very strong now. Awesome!
