Those of you that have him, please post comments about this figure, seriously thinking about getting him, would like to know more about him, like,

is he fragile?
bad transformation?

will he fit my wrist? (regular adult size)

one bad thing is that he looks horrible in watch form.

thanx in advance!
;;)

he is awesome! my 2nd favorite real gear, behind high score 100! ok transformation, though. if you know he looks bad in watch mode, then why are you interested in whether or not he will fit? (he won't, BTW)

imo he's great. good simple transformations, good modes, good paint apps, really sturdy joints, but he wont fit on your wrist.

my favorite part about him is that he has himself on his own wrist!!!!

thanx for the replies.

I think his bot mode looks pretty cool.

as for being a wrist watch..
is that cool? It has LOTS of potential.

I don't know if you know of Gold Lightan, but I think he is the most SUAVE of ANY transforming toy bot. THINK ABOUT IT, it's the one Bond would carry 8)

The wrist watch could have been AWESOME if the watch looked a little more bling...

I'm wondering if I could repaint him, that's why I'm asking.

I saw some AWESOME repaints for classics Meg, and this MEAN TIME would also look KILLEr if changed a bit... my humble opinion. ;;)

Our creative forum repaint hero Jin Saotome has actually repainted him a few times.. Cruise over there and check it out if you get some time.. 8)

It is a very good real gear toy. It is very poseable in robot mode and its watch mode is quite OK (the only thing that could have made it better would have been a real working watch).

is he fragile?
-Not really, I played with mine quite a bit (like all the other Real Gears)

bad transformation?
-Not really, he has an automorph when you clip the crotch together or take it apart his head pops out/in.

will he fit my wrist? (regular adult size)
-Probably not, I think it would only fit a child's wrist.

one bad thing is that he looks horrible in watch form.
-Yeah it's pretty crappy, but I like his bot mode a lot, fun and quite posable.

Gold version is alright, but I prefer Jin's customs over this version.

Meantime is one of those figures that will just blow you away, it's an impressive figure because it's alt mode lends itself to a simple transformation.

The detailing is impressive for a deluxe size figure, and for a deluxe figure he is rather tall, but not wide or deep, he is well articulated in especially on the legs, making him very easy to pose, and he takes up very little room in your display space.

Get one, or two, or a dozen, he is that good of a figure.

just noticed this... :-?

is he a minicon?
what I mean is that he has a port looking thing on his back.
if so wouldn't this make him the largest minicon thus far?

appreciate if anyone can confirm this.

No, he's not a minicon, he's a basic. There are no minicons in the movie line. But damn, that G-Shock looking repaint is good.

Sorry, made a mistake there, Meantime is a Basic, but he is almost as tall as your average Deluxe. Nowhere near as bulky though.

wow nobody still has a definitive technical answer! world's biggest mystery :)

I should make a poll.

a) yes he is, I tried it, it works. this is a significant find!

b) no he is not, I tried it, the port is way too small

c) huh?

I don't know about the toy, but it is horrible name for a toy. It is too "hip". :P

the answer is B.
the port is too small and shallow for a mini-con plug to fit inside it (I did not try it; I can tell by looking at the back of mine). It is just decoration.

thank you for this 90% answer.
wouldn't he be 10x better if he could though?

I feel like I'm trying to solve the mystery of the Pyramids here :?
