Various pics of various figures are floating about the Internet, a simple Google search should give you some decent pics.

As for the series, early 2008 is the only info we actually have, rumours are abound with dates ranging from Jan 1st 2008 through to Mid April. Until we get an official date from Hasbro then no-one knows for sure.

a few months ago, there were pics of the following toys already:

Bulkhead
Optimus Prime (deluxe)
Bumblebee
Starscream
Megatron

search this site or Google it, you'll find them. i think it was in SDCC or another convention when the toys were unveiled.

All we have seen are prototypes, and some color test shots.

Animated is scheduled for some time early 2008. But we haven't seen final versions of toys. Only Starscream.

Also of some toys we've only seen concept art, no actual figure, like Blitzwing.

By all accounts the Grimlock toy will be the best Grimlock ever.

Until he's actually released and then people will find out that he's riddled with assembly errors or that he completely lacks details and an interesting paint job and that his totally unnessasary combining gimmick ruins both him and Swoop ...

You can also do a Youtube search for it and the clip you'll find will be the Comic-con coverage from this year. It shows a snippet of the first episode, as well as shots of the toys to be released.

Ok i have to admit, some do look really really good, like BUMLBEBEE!! ( WHOOO!!!) starscream, prowl, and blackarachnia.

At first i thought the toys were gonna be stupid because I thought the idea was stupid, I'm kinda giving in now

I like the animated figures I've seen so far, but I thought they looked like crap initially. Now I think they might be kind of fun. Dunno, I said that about the movie toys too, and as far as they're concerned I proved myself wrong....

i think they're cool, but if they only did something with the faces, they'd be great. i still can't get over the big chins and disproportionate anthropoid faces.

I personally can't wait to say Ultra magnus's and Sentinal Prime's designs.

Although out of the designs we've already had pictures of I'm most looking forward too:

Soundwave
Blitzwing
Lugnutz
Lockdown
maybe BA

Voyager Prime(the deluxe one's alt mode isn't doing it for me)
Bumblebee
and the rest of the autobots.

Black Arachnia is the one I'm really looking forward to most. Megatron and the golden motorcycle will also be must-haves, and probably Blitzwing as well.

Grimlock I may get if they repaint him as a different character. The mold amuses me, but I prefer the Classics incarnation of the character.

This is a line that I really can't wait to get into. The cartoon looks great and so do the toys. First time in a while that I've been anticipating a line of figures to come out.

And by all accounts, Animated will start January 1st. Could have sworn there was an official announcement by Hasbro on that subject.
