The whole Prime's sword thing brought up an interesting idea, I was wondering... what if Hasbro released "Up-grade packs" for their transformers, which were accessories for them?

What kind of accessories would you want for your Transformer figure and why?

I'd have to say I'd like to see:

1. Optimus Prime Movie Leader Class Sword

2. A Coronation pack for Starscream, and variation colors for Skywarp and Thundercracker, just in case you wanna play them as King or something..

3. a Booster rocket jet pack for MP Optimus Prime

4. Additional Guns to fit Alternators or Classics hands.

5. a Platform gun that can transform into a smaller figure, or a Platform artillery gun that can become a backpacked Gatlin Gun for a Transfgormer..

6. Visors like night vision type looking googles that fit over certain transformers heads..

Whats your idea, and for which Bot?

a trailer for Classics Voyager OP/Magnus. Especially if the Magnus trailer fits him kinda like hte original and it makes him larger and not naked.

Ohh... that is an excellent idea, armor packs for the Transformers toys.. hmmmm.. they could engineer some specifically for the Trucks..like Optimus or Ultra Magnus since they are repaints and all.. but imagine an Ultra magnus transformable trailer for the Ultra Magnus classics bot, then as an added extra treat Hasbro decideds to Recolor the trailer and offer it as armor for Optimus Prime!!! How cool would that be.. every fanboy's secret question that has haunted us since the debut of Ultra Magnus in G-1... why not have Prime wear Armor as well???

I could see it..Classics Optimus Prime in Armor along side Classics Ultra Magnus in Armor, which turns into a trailer as well...Ahhhh dreamy dreams!!! that would soo kick ass!!!

so armor for Ultra Magnus and Prime, and armor for some of the other bots as well..that when not in use becomes a weapons platform or some other device.. hence the transformation theme stays with the accessories as well as their Figure Partner..

now we're cooking with gas!

Only thing I'd be that interested in seeing is a set of the rocket launchers for Alternators/Binaltech, if only so I wouldn't have to trawl ebay for them.

yeah that's a good idea as well.. i always thought that my Alts needed extra Rockets, especially in that classic chrome look..but I'd settle for a reasonable silver paint job.. or molded plastic in silver...


Oh my god.... what about a Bazooka??? you could turn it on its end and open the flaps around the shell and it becomes a standing artillery gun for a shorter transformer..as you peel back the shell pieces they become the 3 legged Base, and a mini machine gun is standing straight up, with a hinge below it for turning, and you turn it down to a 90 degree angle, and wollla!! instant gun platform!!

Or a Machine Gun tripod, that transforms into a Bazooka...either way..

I think this is a GREAT idea. All of it.

Well thank you!! I hope one day Hasbro thinks so and decides to produce accessories for their Transformers..

Here is another thought.. what accessory would be good for the Beast Wars transformers?? i can't think of anything off the bat just yet..????

they should do weapons packs all around, and not discriminate against series...movie, classics, energon weapons, beast wars, you name it.. more weapons and accessories please..

oh and a bullet proof vest, and a revolver, like in patlabor would be really odd, yet cool at the same time...

Definatly more guns for Classics and Alternators. I got one of the launchers/swords packs, but I would love more.

The gun for the Alt. mustang mold blows, and classics CJ/BB needs a good gun.

Personally, I think that the trailers and armors, while it would be awesome, are not EVER gonna happen, too much $$$.

The extra weapons packs that you could buy for G.I. Joes back in the day rocked, I'd love to see something like that for TF's.

Those are all real good ideas, yes to trailers, I love Optimus Primes with trailers.

I've been thinking about and designing gun stuff for my Alt Hound so it would give him a more toon look, just have to figer out a way to attach it in alt mode without damaging the toy.

More guns.

I gathered some guns from old G.I. Joe copies and painted em black with dark gray bits to show a weathered look and such since we don't get transformers with guns really just..a plastic stick that shoots a inch and resembles a BFG from DOOM.

Some guns we could possibly get..

A vulcan minigun
dual pistol or sub machine guns that look like the halo kind
battle assault rifle again halo like
large tripod gun, like a para with the legs coming down.
sniping rifle for the smaller transformers.

But for other accesories.

camo for the smaller guys again, a type of ghuile (sp?)
sword or such for melee stuffs
Tables Ladders and chairs (oh my!) haha kidding..=P

Thats all I can think so far.

I am seriously considering making that!
All I need is the putty and styrene, latex for the molds, plastic to cast and paint to paint it.

I'm really interested in making that kind of stuff, just need the capital to do so.

If Hasbro is reading this, check me off in the YES column!!!

I like the melee weapons idea.. we do need more customized swords and such..

I personally would love to see:
Transformers Riot Gear!!!

a Large clear sheild with a hugeass red with dark blue outline autobot symbol and a handle/ or a Gundam type sheild that stretches out/or a sheild like the one for evangellion..you know what I mean..

then a large riot helmet for an autobot with a smaller red autobot symbol on the front center of the dark blue helmet, and a clear face shield that can close down or be tilted up over the canopy of the helmet.. and a white lettered Protect on the back of the helmet

then a large energon (clear plastic) dark blue handled night stick, and a dark blue chest armor plate, again with an autobot symbol in the middle with white lettered Protect on one shoulder pad and the name "autobot" on the other.. they could also incorporate police lights (non working ofcourse) into the tops of the shoulder pads for that added extra police look...

On the back of the armor chest plate which just snaps down over the particular toy, there are ports for the shield and night stick to be stored..

He would also come with a huge BFG type gun that was dark blue, and had a flip out stock support like Megatron does in gun mode...

That would be my holy grail!!!

Wo!! I forgot about the sentinel stuff.. like the turret bases that Rhinox and Rattrap manned in guarding the outside of the ark!! nicely done!!

My personal favorite:

Alternate heads or hands, perhaps, thanks to the wonders of the ball joint. Some alternate weapons for certain figures would be great too. Classics Cliffjumper oughta have, I dunno, An ATV on a trailer that turns into a glass gas gun, maybe.

More targetmaster-y minicons too, please. And hey, while we're there, keep puttin' minicon ports on figures, just one or two each, not enough to be in the way or interfere with transformation. More minicons in general. They can take up the basic pricepoint and we won't get stuck with cars that are, for some reason, half the size of regular cars.

And hey, out of the blue here, but howzabout a trailer for Energon Rodimus? To, y'know combine and make a decent looking Rodimus Prime with, so we don't have to use his awful supermode arm-leg things.
