So I've been off here for about a week or so. I assumed due to all the random 503 errors, that the site was down for maintenance. The problem with that was I kept getting email alerts to threads. After minor digging, turns out the site wasn't the problem, Google Chrome was

This site can’t be reached

The webpage at https://www.seibertron.com/energonpub/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
ERR_SPDY_INADEQUATE_TRANSPORT_SECURITY

Now on Firefox and wouldn't you know it? The Site Lives!!

I have a Debian laptop at home and for some reason I cannot access this site at all through Firefox. Konqueror works, but Konqueror is not a very good browser (IMO). Is this an incompatibility with the Linux version of Firefox and the website or is my laptop playing up? I have no problems accessing the website from any other device (such as my Windows 7 PC) so I don't know what's happening.

That definitely sounds like a problem on your laptop. The only thing I can suggest it to dump its cache (which I'm going to assume you've already tried)

Yep. Tried deleting cache and cookies. Tried adjusting MTU. No idea what's going on.

Linux you said? I'd check out general problem areas compared to Windows (like certain pieces of code), it may be a compatibility issue we may not know about.

I had to update seamonkey and palemoon or it would not access seibertron.com at all. I think older versions of some browsers are not compatible.

I'm no longer receiving any email notifications for new posts made in threads I've posted in. Even going back and revisiting those threads or even making new posts in them isn't doing anything about this.

Using Samsung Internet browser and finding that error and some bits not loading properly. Also my email notifications aren't working any more.

When I post in a new thread or start a new one, I'm not receiving any sort of notification on my "View your posts" page. For instance, my new D&D thread doesn't appear on my list of updated posts, yet I'm able to see that: Wolfman Jake posted on Wed Aug 08, 2018 10:42 pm (only 20 minutes ago)

If you force a refresh in your browser, does it make a difference?

I refreshed it, deleted my cookies and cache, refreshed by computer and still I am not receiving notifications of replies to my new thread (via Seibertron). I still get the usual email notification though, but nothing ON HERE. :(

Note: capitalized for emphasis, not pissed off.

So not really a problem, more of a curiosity, but I just noticed today that around 7000 posts dropped off of my post total?

About 1500 of mine dropped off a while ago. I think it happens during housekeeping of the forums...

Mine dropped by 4,000. Which is fine, I'm already posting too much as is.
