I was all content to let these go, and then you had to go and post the gallery pictures, and talk them up, and get me all excited. I don't even like the voyager Megs mold that much as I stated in your original post. So I figured that I would at least check them out at Best Buy. And lo and behold they're freakin' beautiful. The way they should have been painted in the first place, so I bought them both.

I wasn't interested in these, then everyone here had to tell me how awesome they were. Sure enough, my OCD brain fixated on getting them and when I had no luck at my local best buys I resorted to evilBay.

Oh well, I have them now and they are just as sweet in person as the pics show.

I still think the ice looks a lot like feathers. Better than blue, but still like feathers. Other than that, I love these two.

I returned my Boo Berry Megatron today (I had him for like 2 months). I was originally going to keep him until I stood him next to the metallic one. I didn't see the point after that.

At least you guys are having luck with your Best Buys CARRYING them.

If it wasn't for this site, these would have gone unnoticed to me and yet i checked the two Best Buys near me and sadly nothing, so i got one off Ebay and im awaiting my Megatron ( which i was considering on getting as leader) but once i saw the repaint megs i had to get one ><.

The Best Buy stores around me must got gotten a shipment in yesterday or the day before. On Oct 16 there was just 2 Megs and 1 Ratchet. I got a Megatron. Then yesterday I checked and they had 4 Ratchets. Then I went over to the Best Buy 25 miles away and they had 3 Megs and 3 Ratchets. I saw on some other boards where other people talked about how their Best Buy stores had the figures also. Did you guys check your stores today? They just might have them.

BTW, I believe Skywarp-2 called this originally. He had mentioned how more were coming.

Yeah i tried couple of days ago ( three times i have tried on different days) they remembered me and said that they wont be getting any restocked, so after that i got one off eBay. Meh least i got one >>.

I was told that too. I went back to my store in the evening on the 16, acting dumb, poking the ad, and asking where the figs were (because I wanted a 2nd Megs). The guy told me they sold out in the morning there weren't going to get anymore. Then yesterday they had more.

HA HA!!! I have done my job well!!!

See that is why I have to tell you guys, that Metallics are where it's at, and I have always thought, it's not the toy mold, it's the paint applications that make the toy..ok, well maybe both, but still..

I was obsessed with my Metallic Megatron, here we have a megatron who was frozen in ice...resurrected and brought to life, where he promptly ravages a whole city block in an all out bid for the Allspark!!

once I saw that scene in the movie, I was like damn!!! and seeing the metallic megatron with the ice that was to be the regular release really made me kinda let down and sad, to see a good idea become a crappy toy.. it was unnerving..so i passedon the Voyager Megatron..

A couple of weeks passed and leaked news of a special metallic Best buy exclusive surfaced, no ETA, and no images..

I immediately went berserk..

I saw and bought the leader class...now i'm itching to sell him, but I don't want to until I see confirmation of a Metallic Leader class on the horizon.. but I will say that in the days leading up to the Best buy release of this super Metallic version, It was consistantly on my mind, every time I saw trailers for the movie, custom images, or images of the actual metallic toy.. when A car in metallic silver passed me on the interstate, you name it.. it became a hard feeling to ignore.. a realistic looking movie megatron toy was about to be in my grasp!!! then the day came when i went to Best Buy during lunch.. I walked passed everyone as if they didn't exist, grabbed 2, went to the counter an dtook one back because the box was a little dented.. then paid, went to my car and freaked out!!! I mean I was yelling, giggling, awwwing and ooohhing!! It was a complete geek moment, but I was happy...I could have gave 2 rats ass about anything else..

so the ice isn't everyone's favorite, i love the ice, for me it ties the toy to the first movie...

Subsequent Megatron's or other toys won't have that feature, so he's special in that respect.. plus I can't help feeling like He's got a tie in to G-1 cartoon and Jetfire.. that nostalgia feeling rolls back everytime I picture Megatron's hand and Old Mr. Witwicky landing in the cavern...

enjoy your purchase, that particular Megatron toy is probably the best ever made from the movie line..For those on the fence.. buy it now, or pay alot later.. he's wonderful, adn you'll never find another Megatron like that again!!! Trust me.


this may really kill some of you, and make some of you go crazy on me.,. but this really did it for me.. lok at the detail on his back.. the metallic spine, it almost makes him look organic!! look at the detail in the legs!! come on man!! he's freaking king of the world right now!!!

If I want to get my hands on one, I will have to order online. No Best Buy in my entire region.

GAHH!! I don't think you should be complainging!! you got your hands on those babes!!! I'm still looking!! I live in the suburbs so there's alot of people here, one best buy 5 miles from here one about 20.... but nothing!

Meh, I was interested in the Megatron one, but my BB was sold out in less than 60 seconds and never got any since. I'm happy with my BIGGER Leader Megatron anyway.

Sportimus, you're not missing out. Voyager Megatron, metallic or not, pales in comparison to Leader Megs. He's just more fun.

leader Megatron is more fun, for now.. but they will eventually be releasing a Metallic version.. and the iced one has a huge tie in to the story from the movie.. so I think your missing out.. EBay him.. you'll not regret it..

Which Bumblebee is the best? The regular Deluxe, or the Battle damaged deluxe from the Target eclusive 2 Pack? I'd love to see comparison images..I only own the 2-Pack target exclusive..

I also wonder if they will decide to do a deeper yellow in metallic version of Bumblebee in the new Premium repaint line up???

You know what I find awesome... Hasbro never had the inclination to produce a Movie colored version of My Name sake.. nope no Skywarp the movie figure for the Bayformer design....

AHHH... I always knew I was too cool for that stuff!!
