Looks more movie accurate too. Look for yourself:

The Takara face doesn't look as good, though.

i have the takara one in my hand.

it looks exactly like the "hasbro" one you posted. The "Takara" one above looks like the pic from the back of the box (Which looks SO much better than the toy.)

Thank you. Good catch there.

What, specifically is more movie accurate?

The only difference I see is the shade of green, which to me looks like a complete artifact of different lighting conditions/photography (and possibly a bit of touch up photoshopping on the "Takara" photo that is also the Hasbro product photo from the box)

Anybody actually have both of these items to photograph side by side?

the first image may be a box pic or a press release for ratchet. as far as we know all Hasbro and Takara TFTM voyagers are exactly the same, even in paint jobs.

Other than the shade of green, I see no difference.

The feet are different...the "takara" one (which as has been pointed out really isn't it) has green feet where the Hasbro pic has black ones. My guess, since the axe is on the wrong hand, is that both Takara and Hasbro used the same pics on the box and the toys are also the same.

Feet are green and the plastic around his head is green.

It's just the box art though. It's the differences between the boxart and the actual figure that led me to take mine apart to look more like the boxart.

Actually the Hasbro looks better to me. More defined. On the Takara, the green head is indistinct against the green background, but it stands out much better with the Hasbro version.

On the Hasbro version, can you fold the shoulder windows back like you can on the Takara version? I think Ratchet looks a lot better with those shoulder windows out of the way.

folks, once again = do not mistake the box or promotional pic for the final item! the first pic is just a promo for the final product, while Seibs' pics show the actual Ratchet.

there are lots of Takara and Hasbro Ratchets here in the Philippines and in my local forum, the collectors who have each swear that there is practically no difference between the 2.

On my Hasbro Ratchet, the windows fold all the way around with ease.

The Takara Box-art version looks a helluva lot like the Legends Ratchet's shade of green!

But Photoshop an do that kind of thing.
