Da, they'd feel nice, but they're just too much trouble.

And really bad for kids - they were a perpetual source of frustration for me when I was little - mostly on MASK toys and Gobots.

Although, if some of the toys came with interchangeable wheels I wouldn't complain.

sometimes rubber wheels is a good thing and bad thing.... it'd roll good, look better, feeel better, but not as durable, and the toys are made for kids not adults,

ON topic, I'd like to see rubber tires on all the toys. Sure the kids will lose them, and thus it will be harder to find complete ones when it comes to resale, but I think it's just cool when they actually have them.

The only toys I've heard having cracking tires were RiD. Is this accurate? :???:

That would be true, even if it's only for Prime

Magnus essentially shares the same tires, so him as well. But what about the Autobot Brothers?

Yes, Soundwave and Megatron need rubber tires!

Well... I don't speak for everybody, but my Prime's tires have cracked while the Autobot brothers' tired have stayed complete. Same with my G1 reissue Jazz and my Alternators' tires.

Ohhhhhhhhh yes. Don't you just love titles like "have you" and "look at this"? And ones that nearly constitute a complete title but stop at the last

I don't think I've had any of my RiD ones crack, but several of my G1s have. I can think of Grapple and Inferno offhand, but I'm sure I've lost some others too.

On the whole, I'd go with plastic. I like the look and feel of the rubbers, and obviously they run better on flat surfaces, but you have to be a lot more careful with them than plastics. And if you have the slightest damp problem in your house, they get mould too, which isn't entirely pleasant.

Yeah, I'm just talking within the RiD line. I think both my Prime & Magnus have had problems, but the Bros are okay.

All the rubber wheels on my old tfs are fine and dandy.

It's the damn plastic around ball joints that gives out eventually.

We need a little energon and a lot of luck. And some more booze, and a cheese danish, and 456 cups of coffee, and raindrops on kittens and whiskers on roses.

Definitely more of that booze. I'd go for a pint of Guiness right about now.
