Did you put the stickers on your MP Starscream?

I just got my MP Starscream today, and I'm debating on putting the stickers on him. If anyone has put the stickers on him how well are they wearing over time?

Do they begin to scratch and peel after multiple transformations, or are they staying nice and clean?

Thanks

Get it open before I personally fly all the way to whereever the hell you live, and steal it so I can pose him in both modes... :P

What a coincidence, I just got my 1st MP Starscream yesterday.

I put most the standard stickers on mine, except I put mine and my wife's initials on the vertical tail fins (BB/CA), red stripped vertical tail stickers, and used the small purple and yellow Decepticon Badge stickers. I also positioned the large Decepticon wing symbols facing upward so they're not upside down while he's in bot-mode.

Is the MP line very detailed and do they transform good? I wouldn't know as I've never gotten one, and they sound like they are good ones to have.

98% of all TF fans will tell you that the Masterpiece line is the most detailed Transformers ever. I have Prime and Starscream and they are beautiful beyond comparison. Transformations are more complex than the typical TF and they are in a larger scale.

After playing with mine for a while, I have found it to be absolutely awesome. The transformation is really quite brilliant. There are some fiddly parts to it though.

It can be hard to rotate the arms out of their position in the belly of the jet, as the tabs that hold them in place get caught in their slots.

And when you put the air intakes back into position in the last part of the transformation to the jet, they tend to not fit in as snugly as I would like, leaving a small gap.

These are pretty minor complaints though. Overall the figure is fantastic.

You mean on the sides? Yeah that's been bugging me ever since I got him.

I can't justify spending that sort of money on a toy, even if it is exquisite.

The funds are there, but such a purchase just seems preposterous to me.

Then again, I'm a cheapskate who agonizes over spending five dollars for lunch.

Yeah, that actually makes me feel a little better too.

I just checked out Seibertron's gallery, and his seems to be that way as well.

You need to hold a Masterpiece Transformer in your hands and then your views may likely change.

Where can you find them, and how much do they cost? Are they die-cast or plastic?

Depends.
Prime has had verious versions.
MP-01 is pretty rare these days, as is MP-02 (Magnus repaint). MP-04 (one with trailer) is available still at pretty much every online store, but he aint cheap. 20th anni prime is still pretty common in the UK, and dvd 20th anni may still be kicking around in the US. All versions are made of the same materials, and have a LOT of di-cast.

MP-03 (Starscream) has very little diecast, and is only avialable online and in Japan (I beleive he has sold poorly in Japan).

Personally, despite the disapointing colours, Starscream is hands down not only the best MP, but the BEST transformer ever designed.

Yeah, check out the banners on this website.

Also, TF Reissue is also a good place because it has prices from all different locations. http://tf.shoppertron.com/i.php?cs=Generation+1+Japan

By the way, I have not put my stickers on yet. I am still contemplating, which ones. I too may reverse the Decepticon wing stickers so they are right side up in robot mode.
