G1 Shockwave question

A friend of mine has a mint Shockwave, no box but instruction, biocard and decoder and he wants $100.00 for it. The electronics work and the hose is not cracked. Good deal or not, should I wait for a possible reissue, will there be one. Im kind of new to G1 and reissues so could you guys help me out. Thanks.

That sounds like a decent mid-range price. You can usually find them ranging from $90-$120 in really nice shape.

if its mint and working, good deal.
There more than likely will not be a reissue as the original mold was licensed through ToyCO.

Yeah, $100 is a good deal for one that is in very good, working condition.
Check the battery cover tabs. They are prone to stress and break easily.
