Hi I found a auction on ebay for a G1 Transformers radio.

It looks similar to the blue Blaster, is this really Broadblast?

He says its from Argentina.

Update!

I just found out about it (god bless wikipedia)

It says its from the Argentinian toy company "Commando Toys" this guy in a G1 packing, he transforms into a real working radio!
And was available in two colors, never released in the USA.

Interesting :-?

I've had Broadcast in the past & he looks nothing like that!!

He should look the same as Blaster but in blue.

It's not soundwave nor is it Blaster, is this a KO ore is it a rare exclusive?

It's a radio, just one that happens to turn into a robot. I believe that these came out around the same time as Headmasters, so in all liklihood the colours being similar to Twincast is not entirely coincidental.

Bottom left hand corner of the box looks to read '1987 Hasbro inc'. I'm sure that I've seen these turn up from time to time but I don't remember it being official. Hm.

He was official, but not in the US. Rather, he was released in Argentina, in two colors:

Radio AM Robot (black)
Radio AM Robot (blue)

During G1 the distribution in Latin America was handled by other companies under license from Hasbro. However, each company went their own way with the toys, that's why some TF's there may seem odd.

The box looks close to official. Except for the "Radio AM".
