http://www.hasbro.com/transformers/defa ... 648C362A21See some of your first glimpses of new Real Gear Robots for 2008. Wave 1 includes Highline 1070 (cell phone), Hacker X-3 (personal game system), Foton T-34 (digital camera). Be on the lookout this January where toys are sold!
Highline 1070
HIGHLINE 1070 knows where you're at. Any creature he establishes a connection with, either physically, or through his communications system is saved in his extensive target list. Those that get labeled as DECEPTICONS, he tracks continually, waiting for them to be in a perfect spot for an ambush. Then, he lays traps designed specifically for each enemy, and moves in to finish them off.
Hacker X-3
According to HACKER X-3, there's no such thing as secret information. He looks at computer security as a personal challenge, not because he wants whatever's behind it for himself, but because he likes to share the things he discovers with the world. The DECEPTICONS are fond of secrets, which bugs him, so he goes out of his way to share their private plans with as many AUTOBOTS as possible.
Foton T-34
PHOTON T-34 works alone. He doesn't like other robots getting in the way of his work, which is sabotaging AUTOBOT structures. Special sensors in his lenses let him target and analyze the worst weakness of any structure. He uses this data to plan the dramatic destruction of roads, bridges and buildings when the AUTOBOTS least expect it.

Sadly they are all repaints

I don't get the point of highline.
We already have an autobot and decepticon version of that mold.
But the Autobot version of Power Up looks cool.
Now we need a Decepticon version of High Score.

Repaints of molds currently at retail. How very Hasbro of them.
Highline = Speed Dial
Hacker x-3 = Power Up VT6
Foton T-34= Spy Shot 6
Although, A Decepticon version of the Gamepad Highscore TF. might be interesting. Al in black, with silver grips.

looks like Hacker is going to be a prime candidate for a Soundwave kitbash.

Can't they just call "Photon" what he really is...REFLECTOR! This is the same pet peeve that I had w/ "Booster X10/Laserbeak."

*hangs head in shame*
That...that's ridiculous. I'm sorry but they're carrying this way too far now. I understand why they're doing it, but this is just too much. Much too much.
If you buy one of each individual mold in this line, you'll see it's quite a bit smaller than ones of the past. I just...wow.
"Coming soon, TransFormers 2 toys!"
"But...they're all repaints from the first movie's toyline..."
"...you suck. Mr. Collector here wants new molds! WELL SCREW YOU!"
...and that's about how it feels.

I'm ok with them doing repaints representing the opposite faction.
I personally would like to see an autobot version of Zoom Out.

So a third repaint for speed dial...
Liking the Hacker and Foton repaints.
It's amazing that of all the movie related lines, only the Real Gear line has repaints that are of a decent quality, they looks different, or better than the originals.
Now where is my Meantime repaint dammit???

Me too. This is a major disappointment for me. I never liked these figures in the first place, I don't know many people who actually have them. Why are they reusing the same molds & repainting them two to three times per mold? Yes it makes money, but hell it's pointless! Besides, who actually buys three of the SAME figure? I can understand for things like Starscream/G1SS/Thundercracker as they are complex figures, besides the original seekers were recolours anyway, but for a Scout class! Peh...

Ohh, Hacker looks really cool - so does the Decepticon camera, that gold is very cool.
Not quite feeling the cell phone though, Wiretap had the best colours for that mold, you can't improve on those.

Looking forward to these. The new colours are making them look pretty spiffy, especially the cellphone mold.

Yeah, but you have to realize that these may be the most awesome scout class line ever.
I just started buying them not to long ago, only have High Score and Power Up, but I must say I really like them and plan on buying more.

So there's tons of them out there already, just buy one of those. Enamils are usualy 1 isle over.
Make your own if you don't like the color, that way Hasbro can just focus on new bots!
If you realy like them(and I can realy see why, they do rock) put them to bed for a few years, then do a rehash.
Give us time to miss them, before you gag us with them.
AMEN
