Im trying to figure out what to use for the antennae. Im also going to paint the purple and blue parts the same shade.

Looks good.

For the antenna, you might try a couple black LEGO mini-antennas.

Well, it seems like all you did was paint the back black, but it's a nice resemblance nonetheless.

Not bad! A little Black paint goes a long way on some figures.... for example... painting Bluestreak's hood black.
