Starscream's choice in weapons

I happened to be watching the G1 Season 1 DVDs at a friend's house this past weekend and noticed something funny. In part 2 of "More Than Meets the Eye" during the attack of Sherman Dam, instead of Starscream using his Null Ray or any number of weapons he has, he pulls out a slingshot Wheelie style and says, "So long Autobots, here's one Starscream's been saving for you." He then proceeds to shoot randomly at the wall, exactly where no Autobots are even at. Awesome!
Also, I noticed in the same episode that apparently Paris Hilton ripped off her, "That's Hot" catch phrase, if it can even be called that, from Spike Whitwicky. Spike yells, "Man, that's hot" for no real reason after he sees Sunstreaker shoot a purple seeker clone.

You think that's bad... try explaining why Sideswipe was clearly standing right next to Megatron in the Nemesis in "The Secret of Omega Supreme".

Or why when Cyclonus is giving his version of the I Have a Dream speech in FFoD 2 or 3, and mentions going off to Save Galvatron, Galvatron's clearly in the crowd of cheering Deceps.

Oh, I know there are a ton of mistakes in G1. I just never remembered seeing Starscream use a slingshot. I don't know what is more entertaining, watching the shows or spotting the weird stuff and all the mistakes.

Miscolouring Seekers and putting a Transformer in an erroneous location go hand-in-hand with the G1 cartoon. One ghastly error, however, has to be in Rebirth: Part 1 where Pointblank's Targetmaster Peacemaker mysteriously pops up at the very beginning and is not only the size of every other Autobot, but actually has a speaking role in addressing Highbrow. How did THAT get through quality control?

Quality Control?? I was unaware Sunbow had any.
What's even funnier, most of the errors in the G1 cartoon are on the remastered DVD sets.
