4. G-1 Shockwave (the transformation into a robot and playability of a death ray is cool)
5. Cybertron Optimus Prime (very nice figure and encompasses most the genre's Optimus primes before it)

That picture is a not representative of their proper sizes. They grabbed cgi shots and slapped them together for that.

I would not use it as a basis for scale.

ok I got a better one, and this one was specially produced by Mainframe for a Botcon: Dinotbot is in the middle center and looks the same size as he does in the one above to me..



it was a lithograph and limited in number.. they also had a Predacon version.. i think we discussed this before??? anyhow, i still think Dinobot should have been alot bigger and maybe the same size as Prime in Voyager class..like Megatron was...

scale aside, more to the point, he needs an animation accurate toy!!


Also if Hasbro or Takara created a Perfect Dinobot toy mold, i would replace my top 5 THS Convoy in a heartbeat.. i love that character, he's got loads of Honor, and valor, has the whole Wolverine aspect going on, and a cool sword.. code of hero is the best episode of Beast Wars, in my opinion..

what would be great is if they did a better version of him, they could always do the reborn version as well..

Look at Dinobot in the second pick, he's about a half head taller than Tigatron.

In the first pic he's shoulders above Tigatron.

Don't get me wrong, Dinobot's toy sucks ass. I just don't think he should be gigantic.

No, I agree there, he shouldn't be gigantic either.. but he should have been a Voyager insteaqd of a Deluxe, the same with Rhinox, only a shorter voyager then Dinobot, but wider and bulkier then his little deluxe counterpart..

I also think that Tigatron should have been somewhere between a Voyager and the deluxe mold that Cheetor was..that way the accuracy of scale could have been a little closer tothe actual animation..

regardless of that all I really think that needs to be done is give us a new Dinobot mold with an animation accurate body style and slightly larger then his initial release..then I'd be happy.. as it is, i still suffer with the TM version, even with animation accurate paint jobs, that toy seriously lacks in accuracy and style..

I'm not a G1 purist. The BW show was cool, aside from Dinobot, the toys are just crap.
