question about aftermarket labels

the reprolables thread reminded me--how do the labels from reprolabels and I think yc-collectibles (I see them on ebay) stack up to the original labels? Some hues (predacon gold for example) seemed different than the originals, but that could've just been the photos. Are the stickers printed on the same weight of paper?

I have noticed that some of the G1 reprolabels aren't quite the same as the originals(the metallic blue on Shrapnel for example).

They are made out of far superior material than the original stickers though.

I believe most are printed on some sort of thin vinyl/plastic sort of material, which is somewhat flexible, less so for the clear labels. There is some variation of hues, but it's slight. Some are printed on paper, such as the faction symbol packs, but not many. Also, on very close inspection you will notice the pixels in the print, unlike originals.

Overall, reprolabels are excellent and well worth it when restoring an older figure.

I once ordered labels for Cyclonus and the color was not right. I sent it back, along with one of the peeled-off original labels, and they color matched it. Great service, great product.

I've had nothing but good experiences with them and I've ordered tons of stuff from them. As said before, the quality of their labels exceeds the original G1 decals, and the ones they make for Alternators are outstanding.

Reprolabels are fantastic quality, and they offer a great service.
I hear quite a few people, when they buy reissues, get Reprolabels to apply instead of the factory stickers, just because they're such high quality.

I did that with my WST Dinobots. The reprolabels for the WST Dinobots are not only better in quality, they fit better too.

My G1 Jetfire reprolabels don't fit quite perfectly, but I suspect that's because they copy the dimensions of the originals.
