who do you nominate?
I think the original Perceptor (combinerbot of 3 minicons) is outrageous.
moped + skateboard + bicycle!
the skateboard has small jet looking things on the sides, but a bicycle?!

Your doing Break a great disservice by not including the shell-forming penguin on this list.
(isnt moon from BW2 rather than neo - im sure him and artemis commented on the events on gaia from their vantage point on/in the moon)
Ridiclous TFs? id say the sparkobots - ugly ruined by a gimmick and with awful proporions and transformation. Seems they were throwing whatever crap they could at the line to attract atention

Nawww. The Sparkbots were awesome. I spent hours trying to use them to set boxes of matches on fire.

first off the original Perceptor was a microscope, and secondly the perceptor ur talking about, was what i considered the best toy of the Armada line and the only one i purchased

Not sure if these count because they are Animorphs, but since it is listed on tfu.info, I figgured it might.
http://www.tfu.info/1999/Animorphs/Rach ... rachel.htmTruly god awful!

Not to mention the "mutant head" doesn't stay up, the claw gloves scrape paint off the hands...
And this is a girl that turns into a MALE lion, which is just WEIRD.
I nominate the Animorphs and Star Wars Transformers in general for this thread.

guys READ carefully,
Original "minicon triple combiner" Perceptor is NOT a microscope.
cyb Metroplex, well like TF movie Scorp, I'm glad there are other custom transformation variations.
As for cyb Menasor, I realize his transformation is very simple for a TF toy that size, but perhaps from another point of view that is his charm.
the cyb Soundwave gives me a headache

Sorry, dude, but you said, and I quote:

Which is easily read by most people as you think the Armada is the original Perceptor.

But the original
G1 Perceptor from 1985 is. Your post suggested that the name "Perceptor" was first used for the combiner, which is not the case.
I can't really say which TF is the most ridiculous, as I find the charm in every single one of them... except for the G2 Power Masters:

Hah. I never got it to work. Was still fun to try though,
Meh, all the haters are just mad cause theyre jealous and know that the sox with the youth and $$ have sustainability. Me thinks they're also taking out their Pats envy on the poor ole sox.

I second the nomination of all Animorphs and Star Wars TFs.
I actually read the Animorphs books when they first came out (hey, i was still young!) and thoroughly enjoyed them. But I was violently ill the day they decided to slap a TransFormers label on Animorphs figures. Animorphs are NOT Transformers. They were people who morphed into animals. They didnt have animal parts hidden on their body, and at any time they could morph into any animal form that they had ever acquired. Unlike TFs that have a limited number of alternate forms (typically one, though numerous exceptions exist).
In short, Animorphs were cool books, an interesting concept, but they were not cut out to be action figures, and they are definitely not TransFormers.
As for actual TF toys that are truly ridiculous, I'd have to vote for Galvatron (i mean, i know the figures arent always show accurate, but geez), and G1 Ironhide and Ratchet (faceless soldiers!). Ironically, these are all characters that I love dearly, but they did get screwed in the toy department.
I'm sure there are some staggeringly stupid figures out there that are totally slipping my mind right now, but oh well.

Action masters. Lets suck the essence out of what makes a toy a transformers toy and instead give it an accessory that transformes.

Any figure from Animated?

(yes, I will NEVER give this line a chance- sorry fandom)
On a serious note, I'd have to go with Energon Optimus or Energon Arcee- both for really... fat looking proportions x3
also Break; come on, there's nothing frightening or powerful about a penguin- not even THE Penguin.
Some figures are cool because they're silly- like most of Beast Wars Neo's figures or some of RiD (Sideburn has this Phantom of the Opera thing going on with his face)

If we want to keep to main TF lines (which would then exempt the Animorphs) ... I have to go with Throttlebots!
http://www.tfu.info/1987/Autobot/Goldbug/goldbug.htmYea, the new Cyber Slammers are the same idea but worse looking, but since the characters have incarnations in the "main" movie line I'll give the cyber slammers a pass. They are more of a "pure toy" and not so much an "action figure".
