Just placed an order fot the MP-05 accessaries and attached a note asking for a good condition package (they listed perfect package on their website by the way) and guess what They sent me - a box with one of the corner completely crushed and when I opened the flap - horror- nothing but dirt, dust, human hair etc....This guy is finished for me.
Has anyone dealt with the owner of this one? his name is Curt.

I'm confused. Was the actual package what had dirt and hair inside, or the box it was shipped in?

Yea...
The stuff I have gotten from them has been packed with an absurd amount of care at times.
seriously, they've been nothing but fantastic in both shipping times and packaging.
If it went by UPS, sometimes they do weird crap. UPS is the cause of a lot of problems.

My experiences with TFSource so far have been good. The only thing I don't like it that they charge for preordered items upfront, instead of like BBST where they charge when they ship the item.

^^^^Thats what I was about to say! They OVER-packed everything I have ever bought from them! ABSURD amount of care, I was impressed!!
Curt has even helped me in my search for the Gort headmaster I need. Stand-up guy in all of my dealings with him.

Never had an issue with tfsource.com / Curt.
From my dealings with tfsource.com and Curt, Curt is very responsive to emails and packages are usually well packed with care.
It's called MP-05 Perfect Edition - Accessory Kit - By Justitoys! I don't believe the term perfect was used in the context to describe the box.

I've bought several items from TFSource.com, in fact I'm still waiting on the WST Sludge and Swoop pre-orders. Anyways, I've never had any problems w/ them.

Have you even contacted them about this? Like everyone else here, I have only received the best of customer care from them. Their packaging always far exceeds my expectations. Before being "finished" with them for a dent in your box, I suggest either contacting them or just get over it. It is only a box of a KO accessory with a dent.

I can vouch for that... UPS is a piece of crap. And I work for them.

Curt is the man, you cant fault him. His site caters specifically to collectors.
His packing is always top notch, easily outshines BBTS in that department. When I buy items listed as mint, they have always arrived as such.
If you indeed ordered a mint package, than shipping is probably the culprit. He usually packs his items so well, you could practically kick them off a bridge and still have a mint box.
I know he puts up with A LOT of headaches trying to please the MISB crowd, so if you contact him about the box, be reasonable.
If he integrated the pile of loot option, I would preorder from him more often.

OK...I understand that many of you have good experience with Curt but it doenst change the fact that I have bad one experiencing with him. As many of you stated, the package is well packed with multiple layers, it was delivered by DHL not UPS and I inspected the outside of the box OR any layers of the package and there was no sign shows that it was damaged during the shipping process. However as stated, once I peeled the final layer and there the corner is completely crushed. But what the hell is all the crap and dust doing on the window of the box if this was a brandnew package. I just hate it when someone ships you damage merchandise and not informing you ahead of time. If Curt was as many of you said he was the least I expect some courtesy from him to tell me that the only thing he has left is damage ones

Maybe you should contact him first and tell him all this before freaking out on the boards.

I'm confused. Do you mean the box was riddled with trash, or do you mean there was ONLY trash in it (i.e. no toy)?

The only thing I have ever had problems with was they cancelled my order for Marine NIKE Convoy because they could not get any more.
Everything else has been fantastic!

Encore Megatron was taped but it could of been re-taped by either someone in Japan or Curt himself when I bought it from Curt. But when I opened the box by peeling the tape off. Megatron had several figure prints on his chrome with some visible scratches ,and so did his chrome accesories had finger prints. It was the first time I have purchased a transformer from him.

This is common with Japanese Transformers. I think they open and check them at random at the factory.

Well instead of trying to blast their reputation on a Transformers board, you should contact them about it. Curt does deal with a lot of picky MISB buyers (for which I give him a lot of credit because I know how some of you guys can be).

Like pretty much everyone else I have always had excellent service from Curt and his team. I would shoot him an email and calmly explain the situation.

TFSource.com has become one of my favorite places to pick up figures. Curt is totaly cool and will get back to you within a day or two of you emailing him. I've even had him email me back on the same day. He does an awesome job and I feel that shopping with him is not only a lot more personal but that he goes out of his way to make sure I am happy as a customer.
As far as all my experiences with his packaging goes... well lets just put it this way, had Bumblebee used one of Curt's packaged products to block the missle at the end of the movie instead of that Furby truck, he would have never lost his legs and the product inside would have still been pristine.
Seriously, email the guy and give him a chance. How fair would it be if that were your business and he started bad mouthing you without giving you a chance to fix the problem?

Agreed; I've never dealt with TFSource myself, but I've heard a lot of good stuff. You really should e-mail him about it and give him a chance to fix it before you go running around telling everyone to avoid him.

The email was sent out before this thread started. But here is my problem - I placed the order with a specific note asking for a perfect condition package" (This is what stated on their website as perfect box) and still getting a damage box without being informed ahead of time. So how is Curt experience dealing with "picky customer" again ? and how much more explicit do i need to be...

Wow dude. Accidents do happen. See how he replies back to you. And you should have mentioned that you already emailed him in your first post.

Here's the problem with MPs being re-sealed:
1. Usually customs opens them to get them into the US. They rifle through it sometimes and cause a mess.
2. Some of these resellers are buying MPs off foreign contacts and who knows how they keep them stored and care for them.
3. We (US collectors) pay more for Japanese TFs obviously, which means they hold a higher value to us. The same value isn't held in Japan since the item is valued as less, b/c they can be bought anywhere. It would be like us getting upset about a movie toy or a classic being dirty or not properly sealed.
Im not trying to offend anyone with these statements- its just what I have observed.
