That is an incredible amount of money. I wonder if that Starscream will find it's way onto eBay without the hardware. I feel sorry for the Starscream completist collectors if it doesn't.

I totally agree with most of the posts here. Not interested enough to shell out that kind of money on this item. But if an HK seller gets a whack of these and sells them for maybe $100 US then maybe. My completist inclinations are showing :P

If you don't buy two, one to keep MISB and one to open, you're just not a true fan.

Not only that, but you're slapping Takara in the face with your absurd desire to have $1730!

Jerks.

Starscream! Noooooooooo!!!! Do I think the repaint looks good? Not really. Do I really really want him because he is yet another Starscream to add to my army of Starscreams? Yes. Too bad my family needs things like food. If we didn't have to eat and what not, he would be mine!

Thanks for thinking of us Starscream fans!

Ick. The question is, will our hardcore Starscream collectors feel compelled to find a way to get this? If so, will he become the whipping boy of the Masterpiece? It's hard to understand why exclusives like this can function as significant incentives for people in the market for a television, and it certainly doesn't serve the fan community well, either. I'm glad this isn't a figure anyone would go gaga over, anyway.

Wow that is horrible, i mean the movie Starscream i passed ( it was ok) but the Thundercracker repaint/head remold i think is still the best one yet ( which i picked up) and the G1 Starscream isn't too bad but this is just fugly as hell. :?

...That's just undignified. This isn't a G2 color scheme, it's a color scheme they rejected for a G2 toy because it was too gaudy.
