I like what they did to SS. He's not too different looking, like movie SS, but he's not quite his G1 self. Can't wait to grab these....whenever they come out. :\

What worries me is that Arcee doesn't seem to be a part of the toy lineup. Are we going to see a repeat of 20 years ago?

I love this line.
That Lugnut looks awesome, Lockdown is nice too and Megatron gets the convincing jetmode he deserves. The flyers impress me the most overall.

Yay I was helpful! But yeah, I really like black arachnia and lugnut. They look really good. But hey, most toys look better in they're prototype grey. We'll see how the paint looks

It doesn't show Swoop either, but they'd be crazy to feature them in a show and NOT release them.
And is it just me or does Prime look alot like Guiltar?? Gun's in the back of the vehicle mode ... and he has those slanty windows ....

I really like look of all the molds coming out. It may just yet restore a bit of faith for this series.

Thanks for the link! I heard about them before, but never looked for pics of the toys. They look really cool, and since they have some sort of old school MegaMan-ish look I think I will enjoy these figures. I was thinking about getting into collecting the Classics line, but I'm really liking these guys the most, so TF Animated collection is next!
... when are they coming out?

The more I see of these figures and of the series, the more excited I get. I loved the movie, but am not a big fan of the toys (with a few exceptions). These toys look like non-transformable action figures in bot mode. Simply amazing that they are so faithful to the animated series and still being what they need to be - transformers.
I think my favs so far are:
Dinobots
Ratchet
Blackarachnia
Blitzwing
I'm just wondering how these figures will look standing next to the classics figures? The ones I listed above don't seem too cartoony (unlike 'Screamer, Megs, Prime, or Bumbles, who still look sweet, but would never fit in with other lines) and may help to augment my "classicsverse".

hmmm..that is not all of the characters in the series, but the majority of them.

goofy looking, I would'nt even buy them to re-sell them. Starscream is the only one that looks good in the X-35 aircraft mold
