Here are the rumors, I don't believe them, but might as well post it. MP-07 might be Anime Starscream...makes sense now. MP-08 is now being possibly a two pack, like the G1 versus set, of Prime vs. Megatron, including the trailer and the Megatron rifle parts. But to me that sounds like a $300+ dollar figure set. I dont understand why mp-07 would be g1 colored starscream as we now already have him from hasbro. It would make more sense if it was thundercracker, then wed have all three main seekers in mp format.

The prime with trailer and megs combo just wont sell, it'll cost a fortune, thats bad marketing. I want new figures, not just repaints of old ones!

Why dont we get an MP Bumblebee or an MP Ironhide or Hot Rod or maybe even some more decepticons? Who else would suit an MP release?

Frankly, I'd like to see ANYONE, I don't care, the masterpieces are always wonderful figs.

I really think Hasbro would be better off working on a new MP instead of recolouring an old one. MP Blitzwing, please!

I put my 2 cents in for a BlitzWing, or another triple changer!

Skyfire is the one I want the most.

Hopefully I'll be getting the anime Starscream soon, so it'd be nice to have Skyfire to compliment him.

I wouldn't mind MP08 as Prime nad Megs PROVIDED...

1. The Prime isn't the crap-QC one that came with MP04 and even reissue MP01.

2. They solve Meg's rust and fragility problem.

Don't think it'll ever happen though, because it'd cost a fortune! Trailer and Meg accessories...

I am hoping for the dinobots, and G1 colour Starscream. I never ever understood why they'd go to all that trouble with MP Prime and Megs to make them G1 accurate, even with all the homages like laser weapons, Kremzeek etc, and totally screw up Starscream's colouration.

Tomy/Takara is doing the MP series, not Hasbro.

I hope MP-07 will be a new mold (an Autobot hopefully). I'd be willing to be MP-08 will be Thundercracker.

Maybe the Prime/Megatron set will be a special release.

i personally don't believe any of these rumors cause they just don't make sense. a 2-pack is just absurd and would alienate even more consumers cause of the ridiculous price and enough with the repaints please. can't they add a little variety to this line? out of the six mp's we've gotten three primes(including mp-02 albino prime) and two seekers. that's just sad.

I agreed. Adding a new character (new mold too) would be satisfying.

ID like to see an Masterpiece Arcee or Soundwave, maybe a Scourage too, and an actual release of G1 Masterpiece Ultra Magnus. Maybe one day a Masterpiece Devastator, and maybe a Unicron, probably be expensive as hell too...or and MP Skyfire/Jetfire

I'm still praying for MP Grimlock and MP ShockWave.

Aside from that, I'd love to see Rodimus Prime and Galvatron.

I hope these rumors are false. I'm pretty much sick and tired of all these rumors for the MP line. Hey TakTomy, how about you just make Soundwave and call it a day. Actually, I might go for the Anime Starscream if it is packaged in the MP box, those are snazzy.

OK if this is true, then it is extremely stupid. Why have that ridiculous color scheme in the first place?

MP Starscream's color and quality is really a disappointment. Not worthy of being called a "masterpiece". It could be possible that a G1 colored Starscream in MP box be the redeemer.

AC Toys needs to lay off the wacky tobacky...I agree, these rumors are a bit hard to swallow. It doesn't make too much sense for Takara to release their own version of Anime correct Starscream, right after they sell the Hasbro version in Japan.

And the two pack sounds too huge to be true.

MP Hot Rod. Also an MP Cyclonus would kick ass.

If we see any more MPs, I have to believe that they will be major early-G1 characters, not some of the ones mentioned earlier (like Arcee, Scourge, Cyclonus, etc).

I think characters like Ironhide, Ratchet, Thundercracker, Shockwave, Soundwave, Jazz, Prowl, and possibly Bumblebee (if they make him a generic car and not a VW bug) have a chance. Also Hot Rod as well due to his prominence in the chain of command.

As much as I'd love a "real" Ultra Magnus, I think there is a better chance of JustiToys creating a transformable trailer than TakTomy releasing the same or a new figure entirely.

Again, these are just my opinions, the same as everyone else's posts. It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out.
