I just saw it on ebay, it seems pretty cool

But... the asking price is damn high, was wondering have any of you seen it in person?

What do they use in their packaging?

KO's, reissues? G1s?

They look like KOs to me. First, the pictures of the box and figures look cheap. If you read the description carefully especially this:

"Same Package as the Japan Takara Reissue TF Collection as shown in the picture. The box design concept is exactly the same as the reissue TF collection line, graphic design on the box are extremely great, match the other TF collection box. "

Why would you explain the package is the same as the original manufacturer's packaging unless you're copying from the original.

KOs for sure. That packaging is homemade. I remember a guy that was working on making book style packaging like that- I guess its spreading. New TF collectors will probably see the price and think its a reasonable BIN- thats bad.

KOs. 22-27 never existed.... And the TFC series use DW/IDW art on their boxes....

And the Abominus set had Strafe in it... Hotspot is red, Bruticus is in Ruination-deco..

Would have been great if the Takara Collection had carried on and brought out a few Combiners. But those in the auction I would not touch with a Hundred foot barge-pole!!

somebody offered $200 and won it. wow. However, shipping isn't free if not purchased through buy it now which is $100 more. What a scam! Selling KOs is not a bad business after all.. :-?

It's also funny that he's been keeping them for ages and don't have enough space in the new home.....

What lengths people will go to make a buck.

Those piece of crap KOs have been on ebay for months for $9 per "gestalt."

This guy slaps some fake boxes on the whole thing and nets $200

what a joke, whoever bought these is one serious noob.

I accept that I may get ripped off if I use e-bay, but $200... that's harsh

Foolish then, why buy crappy KOs if you have alot of green to splurge?

You can get REAL gestalts if you have the dough.

Shame that your opinion is a massive generalization. Wealthy or poor doesnt change stupid. Vice versa, a smart buyer is a smart buyer regardless of wealth, someone with money simply isnt as restricted.

Definitely KO's.

Hotspot has a Decepticon logo on his ladder; The Combaticons are the wrong colors; And the Terracons have two Technobots in the package!

I hate KO's, but I do like the giftset ideas. Okay, Takara- get moving and produce the legit ones please.

are you guys even sure that the purchaser is one and the same? This probably a scam to get the sellers ratings up.

I own nearly all the parts of the original Raiden ( lacked the two bullet trains) no way was there a train with that el cheapo green colored caboose.

Just for the record, this guy makes these boxes for people that want the Takara styled boxes for figures that weren't Tak. reissues. They've got them for Fort Max and Sixshot and Reflector, and they're not being advertised as legitemate, and I doubt the dude's doing it on purpose to scam people.

That seller's feedback rating is also dangerously close to the limit. I figure this should see him suspended. :P

$200 is waay too much to pay for KO's. Either the buyer is an idiot or he's...wait...no, just an idiot. I'll admit th only thing I like about them is the boxes. They're pretty well done for KO's, I would mind having the Bruticus or Devastator ones for my loose teams. Id've just replaced the artwork w/Dreamwave, it would've looked better.

Nowhere in that auction does he say that those are KO's. $200 + shipping is unbelievable for that set. That auction is borderline fraud.
