OK this isn't about the Hasbro version, btu more about the mold in general.
Somewere I read (I think it was the TF wiki) that those tail fins on his hips can be detaced and reattached to his legs to let him look more like the toon version, is this true?

Look at this pic, which I "borrowed" from Skywarp-2.

There are those pins on the outside of his legs that look like they could hold the fins, can they?

I don't have the toy, so I have to ask insted of trying it myself.

Yes you can. Just tried it on mine, but it doesn't look as good as when they are on the hips. Also you see exposed ball joints jutting out of the sides of his shorts.

Go on then... 3 pics with variations in fin on leg configurations.

Is it enough to decide on MP SS being worth a purchase?

Far as I'm concerned it's a must have item. No?

Oh thanks, and the thing of him being a must have, yes he is if only he was awailible over here.

Them Baljopints need some modding, oh why didn't they just go with the first MP Starscream?

Probably because it had some peices left over that had nowhere to go. Some of the prototype pictures showed the top part of his "swords" (it looks like a little square) were made to detach completely in the original and then ..... go into subspace I guess.

Still looks more like Starscream than that.

Classics Starscream is more accurate than this

Of course it wasn't meant to be that accurate ... it's meant to be updated. Just look at the original color scheme. The designer worked on the origional Screamer and he didn't wanna just do an updated version of the toy.

Of course this one is alot like the Robot Masters version ... except better.
