My G1 Soundwave has trouble keeping his head up, does anyone know how to fix this?

Try dripping some clear acrylic(clear nailpolish) carefuly around the hinge. Use to much and it'll flake right off.
or just go online and find a plain soundwave body for cheap and use that. I'm always amazed at how much these drop in price with something as simple as a gun missing or something to that effect.

1.) I'm not wasting money on a whole new figure
2.) Will he still Transform with the acrylic stuff?

Sure he'll still transform, just use it sparingly or it'll flake off.

If you can take off the head, apply to the joints, and let dry.

You can also use a LIGHT coating of superglue.
Put a thin layer on the joint, and continue to keep the joint moving while the glue dries.
This trick will work on just about any loose joints on any figures from TFs to marvel legends. But don't apply it, then go answer the phone or something

Superglue may cause whitening in the immediate vicinity of the application. Won't this occur around the joints?

clearly his self esteem is low, tell him that casette players still have there place in modern society and that he isnt out of date. with that little pep talk he should be more confident and able to hold his head high.
sorry couldnt help it

Worth a shot if the acrylic/superglue idea doesn't work!

If you have Ratbat, put him behind Soundwave's head. His feet fit perfectly into the groove where Soundwave's head comes out of. You can angle Ratbat forward a bit to keep Soundwave's head 100% in position...
Of course you'll always have Ratbat on top of him like that, though when he's a robot...

That would be like, Soundwave with wings!
