My lessons in patience...MP Starscream

I feel like here I am again, sweating to find another transformer. MP Starscream will I ever find you?? YES!! Of course I will! Why oh why do I not seem to have learned my lessons?

Let's list the ones I've sweated since the movie came out in early July. SWEATED FOR NO REASON THAT IS!!!

1) Classics Jetfire. Found five in total bought two. One on line due to NOT being patient and one I bought this morning.

2) Scout Armorhide, Airraid and Elita-one. Remember seeing these on line in late August when all the first wave scouts were out? I thought at the time Armorhide was so rare and amazing....maybe even thought at the time it was exclusive to Asia or something. Duh, NO! I even saw a guy pay 45 bucks for it one ebay. Saw all three today.

3) Recon Barricade, Longarm and Payload. Same story as the Scouts. I thought that these ones would never show up in my area. Saw a few of each today.

4) Ultimate Bumblebee. Remember all the preorder hype on this one? Now we are drowning in them. A ton of people have to be kicking themselves on this one.

5) Deluxe Concept Bumblebee. Now this was a tougher one but what's important is that if you haven't yet found one in your area at least the price has come down on ebay. Not all that hard to find anymore. Bought one this weekend.

6) Another big one for me was Rescue Ratchet and Thundercracker. I wanted these two for over two months. At 8am I received a text from a local forum member alerting me that they had finally showed at our local walmart. I jumped out of bed so quick!! Now I see them all the time.

7) G1 Starscream voyager repaint. Once I got the DCPI number it was a cinch.

Anyway, I've decided not to sweat MP Starscream. He will come?

Right??? :???: Yes, see there I go again. Second guessing.

What other TFs have you guys stressed on for no reason??

Ah, glad you have seen the light!

I used to sweat figures a long time ago. No more! Just relax and it will be in stoc. It'll be in stock even faster if we did not feed the sharks on ebay!

I still get nervous lol, but I keep the faith. ;-)

patience does have its rewards.

I have rarely paid for a TF more than its retail price. It helps me control my spending and my collection better.

I impulse bought the G1 movie Jazz, only to find stacks of him a week or 2 later (gone now, though).

I only paid $15 with shipping, so it wasn't a total rip.

I paid about $75 shipped for Starscream. I figured it would cost me $55 in the store if I found it, so I paid that plus shipping to get it for sure. I can live with it.

The only reason I did is because it was a fairly low price, I paid more for Skywarp and Thundercracker (old Starscream) anyway, and my 4 Walmarts did not stock any of the exclusive Alts or devaastator sets.

I have done things like that before. Alt Grimlock had been out for a long time and I gave up. I spent like $40 on him or something, It arrived like a week later and the next day I went to TRu and there one was sitting. Man was I pissed! So now I have a rule of thumb: if it is released in the US, I hunt them down and get them in stores, it's part of the hunt/fun/stress.

It took me like 4 months to finally find Cybertron Wing Saber and Alt Mirage because I refused to get them off Ebay. I was determined to find them in the stores.

I'd give you advise for eBay, but I still want this. Once I do, I will.

I just can't take a risk with this toy. I don't think I've wanted a transformer so badly since masterpiece Prime.

BRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!

If only Mall*Wart was more helpful and competent with their telezone system. Why can't it be like fedex, where I know the day some are coming in?

Patience... yes, it's always good. I live in New Port Richey, FL. Yeah, I'm sure no one here has ever heard of it... Anyway, I just went into my local Wal-mart at about 10 PM, and I didn't think I'd find anything. It's usually hit or miss at this one. Well, wouldn't you know, I walk up and there were, I think, about 6 MP Starscreams sitting on the shelf. Naturally, I grabbed one, for $48.88, no less!! What a deal! And this figure is awesome! On top of that, I looked at some palettes in the toy area, and there were about 3 or 4 boxes marked "MP Starscream". So I think that's another 6 to 10 figures... He'll show up, don't you worry.

Thanks man, I appreciate it!! I'm starting to feel better as someone in Oregon (I'm in WA) just picked one up. I can almost taste him now. Mooohahahahah

Man, I went to a Walmart yesterday and saw like 20 of him(starscream) on the very top shelf.
It was like they didn't want anyone to see/buy him.
