I hope not. Not only was Ultimate Bumblebee was pretty much a failure for Hasbro, but he was inferior to his deluxe incarnation.

Wow, that was fast. Aren't you judging him a bit too soon?

I think the Ultimate TF's are goign to be like the ultra BM Cheetor's: Over produced, and still on clearance in some places.

Amen to that. Deluxe BB is fantastic, and farther more

Ultimate Bumblebee is one of the few toys in my area that never sold out. It's still in every store I've seen.

Real Devo would have been OK, not some crappy cover version. What would ahve been better would have been the actual songs BB played in the movie.
*thinks*
Then again, TF toy + "Sexual Healing" =

'd parents!
I'll prob. pick up UBB if he goes clearance for $30 or less; might not get that low tho. I've discovered I'm kind of a completist, ugh. Not that I'm crazy to get every single TF, it's just that when I can't find anything new I end up getting ones I might not have considered. And UBB's alt mode looks killer, so there's that. OK, I'll stop now.

lol, what if Hasbro just pulled a totally random move, then WHAM, Ult Bonecrusher.
I think I'd actually shell for that...

If they did, it wouldn't be to scale with anything, including Ultimate BB, so that would've been another bad move.

I think that Ult Bumblebee is a one off for the first Movie.
Wait and see how he sells over Christmas (Robosapiens and other larger robots clog shelves and then disappear at Christmas). If he does not sell, expect the Ultimate line to be dropped for TF2 and beyond, if he sells like Hotcakes on Mother's Day, then expect to see the line continued for TF2.
I do think Hasbro under-estimated the appeal and desire for this toy, much in the same way they did for Ultimate Cheetor almost 10 years ago.

An excellent point.
