Has anyone ever posted an ad on Craigslist or the newspaper in hopes of getting some decent G1 transformers that some older couple wants to get rid of?

I was thinking of trying it.

I've tried. No luck though as in my area there are a few different people who try that route. I think they are all dealers too as their ads say that they are looking for any 70s or 80s toys and trainsets.

I have managed to hook up with some locals selling TFs though and gotten some half decent deals.

Been to craigslist, but most sellers are scalpers.
