Thanks to eBay power seller <a href="http://myworld.ebay.com/heerotoysmaker/"" target="_blank">heerotoysmaker</a> we have our first really good look at the Transformers Movie Re&Re of Voyager Blackout, <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/Allspark-power-movie-voyager-class-EVAC-prototype_W0QQitemZ300169119597QQihZ020QQcategoryZ4696QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem"" target="_blank">Evac</a>!

This figure is scheduled to be released from Hasbro in the first quarter of the new year.

NOW I'm happy that I didn't get BlackOut.

He is very good, but they would make a Vortex version.

Wouldn't Vortex be nearly identical to Blackout, though?

Looks better than I thought, but the two Blackout molds I have already are enough, IMHO. Besides, I still can't look at this guy and think he salvaged Blackout's body for his own use.

This Re&Re might just get me into liking the Blackout mould...

From what I can see, the differences (aside from the obvious new paintjob) include a new head, a raft instead of a mini scorponok and new hands.

Yep, a WST sized Music Label Convoy. Given that this is Hero we're talking about I'd assume that it's one of his garage style productions akin to the clear Seekers and so on but being labelled as a test shot has me wondering if Tomy are thinking of revisiting the WST concept. Here's hoping.

sigh this means im gonna have 2 of the same molds now.i have blackout but evac i want to now. im begging hasbro to not make another one and lay off with the repaints apart from a decepticon landmine

Been holding off of getting Blackout for this version. Much as I love my cons, the bots are getting waay out numbered. Can't wait till he hits the stores.

It's a nice redeco, but pass for now. I'm not realy into the repaint retools for the movie. The new molds I'll most likely get.

But as for these, like the Cybertron repaints, I'm sure soon enough I'll find a lot auction from someone looking to make shelf space, then MAYBE, I'll look into scoring these in a lot auction if it's cheap enough.

I am so conflicted on this release. I like the mould but those colours are so bright. Hell I'll just get it!

Well they redid the head and hands, it has too look like an Autobot...

I prefer Blackout.

Now THIS is how repaints should be like IMO. I LOVE the color scheme (totally fits the rescue copter theme), and that head mold is SWEET.

I'm biased though since I actually like the Blackout toy/mold. At first he was a beeyotch to transform, but once you get passed that he is just too cool looking and fun to transform.

I'll be sinking coinage into Evac for sure

I"m really digging this remold, and I'll likely pick him up ASAP. Evac from the Cybertron line was an impressive figure, and even for a remold this version will live up to the other's standards. The little raft (I call it Raft-or for laughs) is also a nice touch.

Evac looks good, but the head reminds me of E-Snowcat-- a lot.

I do like that mini WST Music Label Convoy. I believe the prototype description has been referred to often as bootleg/transparent, so they don't get into trouble.

I love the paint job, the remolding, the fact that it's a helicoptor TF - Unfortunately Blackout was one of my two biggest disappointments in the movie line, so that kind of kills my desire there...

Maybe Hasbro QC will be better for the Allspark line, and that will be enough to sell me on him.

Much improvement over Blackout. The closed fists, with what look like standard peg holes give him the much needed ability to hold other weapons. Loving the new head sculpt.

And the Color scheme works pretty nicely on the helicopter mold. Glad I held off on getting Blackout the first time around.

Def getting him, I happen to like that mold. He'll make a great counterpart to Blackout, as well as beefing up the Autobots' air power.

I hope they have extra hands, on eBay so I can replace the whitish ones on Blackout..with the darker Evac Greys..
