I was thinking of ordering the exclusive Orion Pax from 2 years ago but I really don't know about it. It still just looks like Kup to me. If it's not worth it, I may kitbash my own so does any body know if Blurrs head would fit with Kups body?

I've been looking at this too. It looks pretty nice definately works for me as Orion Pax judging by the pics. However, I'm a little shady about Dion. Dion is a Wheelie repaint right? If so......Wheelie........

I have to admit, I was never impressed with this two pack. To me, Orion was neither an interesting repaint nor did he particularly bring cartoon Dion to mind. Blurr's head would have suited him much better, for a start.

In answer to your question, I'd say leave it alone, unless you either really like the character, really like the Kup mold, or you're an absolute completist.

They're actually quite the impressive pair.

I'm something of a completist. I don't like kitbashing TFs though(DC, Marvel, even SW back in the 90's were cool though) but now I'm considering a staight Blurr repaint. I like the way Kup looks from the neck joint down.

I would get it only for half of what it's going for now.

I own just about every Optimus Prime figure out right now to exclude the lucky draw figures and Orion Pax is a standout in my collection just for who he represents Prime before Prime! Great figure but not worth the going price it has become steep since he came out

Thanks alot, guys! I think I'm on Savage Prime's side on this. I'll just make my own. For now...

I got mine for $50 at Botcon and at that price I was happy with him. What's the set going for now? Any higher than that would be a tough pill to swallow. I like the Kup figure and I collect Convoys but it's a niche thing. I HAD to have it for what it represents but it is just a Kup repaint after all.

I've ordered him from xybertoys. I kinda like the look of Orion and I thought it was a decent repaint of kup

I like the characters but I am not crazy about the molds. I passed on the opportunity to get him. Perhaps Takara will offer a different Orion Pax mold in the future.
