Classics Jetfire Sucks: It's impossible to actually use those words to describe the figure, isn't it

Seriously, has anyone ever met anyone who doesn't like Classics Jetfire? I mean, it's a legendary figure, easily the best from the Classics line, IMO.

I'm sure there are some people that don't like him for one reason or another....BUT I can assure that I am NOT one of them.
Classics Skyfire(I just can't call him Jetfire) is, in my opinion the best figure in the classics line and one of the best Transformers ever created. Period. Discussion over.

LOL, I have my Jetfire currently on top of my TV. I only usually leave my larger non-G1 figures out of my tox boxes, but with Jetfire, I keep him on top of my TV overlooking my room.

I agree 100%. In fact I have said that before.
The only way to use the words Classics Jetfire and sucks in the same sentence is this way:
In the classics line Most of the figures are Awesome but at least one sucks. For example Classics Jetfire is an awesome figure whereas Classics Cliffjumper Sucks!

Love the figure. Most of the classics are great. Can't wait for wave 2.

I've got one, The clasics line would suck without Jetfire. Not that the others are bad, but Jetfire is the best one

My gf hated him because he got to sleep in the bed for a week.
Joking of course, I wouldn't risk rolling over and breaking it during the night!
Seriously though, there is a one word answer that sums up your question.
"no"

When pictures started circulating around the Internet last year of Classics Skyfire, I couldn't believe my eyes. My jaw dropped, Hasbro is giving us a mostly G1 cartoon-accurate Skyfire after 21 years? I was in heaven.
I VERY rarely buy 2 of a figure but I bought 2 of Skyfire right after he came out.

The user Vincent at TFArchive apparently
hates Jetfire (scroll down). I suspected it's because it cost the last of his savings.

But yeah, speaking as someone who wasn't much of a fan of Jetfire before, I agree he takes the cake as a successful combination of all of Jetfire's past incarnations. Plus I like those butterfly wings in robot mode, which hints somewhat at his technologically advanced airframe. 20 euros well spent. ^_^

I don't think he sucks, but I do have a few minor issues.
A. I don't like his feet.
2. I find the arm and leg transformation dull.
d. Alt mode as a lot of bulk on the undercarriage
k. Hands don't go anywhere and are still visible in Alt. mode.
Okay, that's the best I can do. It's a great figure, I love the option you get with the head and the helmet, love the colour scheme, the quality of the plastic, the G1 accuracy of the design, the posability, the big rocket boosters.
But for me the best figure in the classics line has to be Mirage.

I think one's subconscious protective instinct would prevent rolling over on the bab... I mean Skyfire figure while you slept.
Seriously, this Skyfire is an awesome figure and a worth piece of my collection.
I even like the Dreadwind Botcon repaint. At first I did not, but now that I have a G1 Dreadwind I totally see how the Skyfire mold was perfect for a Dreadwind repaint/remold.
Now I need a classic Darkwing that can combine with Classic Dreadwind.

Looking back,I'm surprised I even had to double check getting him out. He just sat there for a week at Wal-Mart until I decided I could take a chance and try him out; I found pure love.
I mean, my girlfriend really should be jealous. I mean, she never brought me several continuous hours of enjoyment.

I agree with those issues as well. But still a great fig IMO.

Ha! I was exactly the same. Like I said, I wasn't a Jetfire fan and I was tight on money as it is. So he just sat there at the store (the last two copies, no less) for weeks on end and I kept thinking "Nah, he's not worth it. I'll regret it later." Nothing could have been further from the truth.

I wish I never let him go when I bought Ult. BB. with it. I thought I wouldnt have enough on my acct. So I returned him! This is when Walmart had like at least 20 pieces of it. Oh man!! Big mistake!!! I regret doing it. So I can say I had him for a night! LOL! Well here's the pics when I got him. Really though I like the G1 Jetfire aka Robotech. I wish they can do a Reissue on him.

His feet do suck.
Arm and leg transformation, agreed.
I will be honest here and say he's not the best figure. I like him, but I don't *like* him, like him. He's...eh. Okay.
He's a worthy purchase and add to the collection, no doubt, but he is slightly boring. Past a certain point it's just kinda meh.
Fortunately, Hasbro is bringing us Classics/Universe 2.0, so maybe that will rekindle the spark for me.
Right now, Masterpieces and Movie figures are where it's at in my book.
And yes, you read it right, I find him boring.

I've got 3 of them and had 2 more. The feet suck and the jetpack clips break WAAAAAY too easily.

I take it I should by classics jetfire then? My TRU has tons of them in stock.
I have a pretty good original G1 jetfire so kinda overlooked the classics one due to it looking very similar.
