ok, we may never see huge giant robots again like Primus, Starscream, or Unicron...

but let's just say hasbro decided to go that route...

would the Ark and nemesis be a cool toy choice?

http://tfarchive.com/comics/dreamwave/timeline/ark.jpg
http://content.answers.com/main/content ... emesis.jpg

they could be really cool giant toys of the Ark and Nemesis from G-1, and then turn into awesome bots as well!!

I'd love it, and no need for it to transform as I would never have it in bot mode anyway.

I wouldn't love it! At that scale, we'd still only be able to fit one or two bots into them (maybe a few more could be attached externally) so they may as well be smaller.

I could use a Nemesis that could also transform into a base.

I know that Hasbro will repaint primus at some point, that must have been a very expensive mold to make. They need to resell it to make up the cost.

I would bet on that being the next supreme release.

That would be the most realistic release.

Isn't that where the Deathstar came from?

Ohhh I didn't even think of the ships turning ino a base!! nice one Olokin!!!

what about a minicon to go with the Ark called teletran 1, whose altmode is a kind of satellite, with funky gadgets sticking off him in altmode, but then turns into a cool robot??

why stop there what about the ships from beast wars?

shoot, if they wanted to Hasbro could make this their own line of toys, like the masterpiece is in Japan, and call it Transformers cosmic Battlers, with nothing but Transformers releated ships and planetoids that turn into bots..

wave 1:
Rereleased Unicron
the Autobot Ark
the Nemesis

Wave 2:
the Autobot Shuttle, complete with detachable front section as seen in the 1986 movie, 2 bots come from that!!
rerelease of Primus
the Maximal ship from Beast Wars..

Wave 3:
Unicron recolored Black variant
Moonbase 1
Moonbase 2

Wave 4:
Galvatron's ship circa 1986 Transformers movie
Quintessa
Junkion
the Predacon ship from Beast Wars!!

instead of just doing the Starwars ships why not the actual transformers ones??

also I found this kinda interesting:

NO!

the ships arent characters they are just transport.

A representation of the ark and the nemisis would be nice in my collection but i only identify with them as veicles not characters.
How much would your idea of a supreme sized line actually cost?
To shell out the money to buy a supreme sized figure its got to be something that people would actually want - im not laying down £50 on - oh yeah i remember that ship from its 30 seconds of screen time with negible importance.

The axalon and the darkside are the names of the 2 beastwars ships btw.

As for what id like the next supreme figure to be a reimagining of scorpinok - 3 modes with lots of play features that could be incoperated into each mode, has had recent small scale homages lately so is in the public imagination and the copywrite is still there and is a kickass tf that people will remember from their childhood

whoa, dude... it's just a suggestion..but I kinda think they are important ships because of the Ark being the base through most of G-1, the Nemesis at the end of Beast wars, and so on.. but maybe they don't have to be characters, like I said it was just a suggestion..

maybe they could release them as bases that transform from the ship to base mode?? they could fit it with classics.. obviously they couldn't be a full base, but if the Ark's front end turned into a control room complete with teletran one screen and controls..
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/e ... etran1.jpg

as a playset..

while the back end folded out awith fake rock from the interior to form the front end which is polarized in every g-1 episode.. that wouldn't be soo bad..
http://content.answers.com/main/content ... x-Ark2.jpg

and do one for the decepticons as well..I'd pay 40 dollars for that..

that's it thanks!!

I think that would be a snazzy idea as well!!

Edit:

I have to go to work now, but I'm gonna impart some knowledge for Hasbro..

if you can dodge a wrench you dodge a ball..

If you can turn a spaceship into a wookie, you can do something with the Ark and Nemesis!!! and I ain't (yes I used ain't) talking about the little titaniums either.. those were crap!!

Nope, the Darth Vader/Deathstar, is an entirely new mold not even remotely similar to Primus. Its a few inches shorter than Primus even..

I think Sid Burn is right. Primus needs to see a repaint just like Unicron, so I'm betting will get him as a Universe release in other colors.

Although I'm not sure exactly what those colors would be.

As for Bases, well it would be fun to have Ships/Bases.

Although If were going the supreme route,I'd like a Universe Fortress Maximus, than can pass toy safety laws.

I'd love to see Primus get released in the Universe line along side a Unicron..
I would love to see Primus get redone in Black and metallic silver colors with some reds and yellows for lights and what not..

Yes!! a Fortress max would be very cool as well.. But he ships just don't have to be bases, they could write a story about how the big ships were once able to transform, until the great Cybertronian shut down, and Primus hiatus in sleep mode.. maybe over time the Ark and other ships of those kind had to go into stasis lock and millions of years later the Autobots used it to get to earth, never knowing that it could have been a actual ancient transformer..either way, if released into the Universe line up or on it's own line, it could be what ever they wanted it to be.. i'd just love to finally get an Ark and Nemesis as a Huge detailed toy..

The ship to base idea sounds more logical. Actually, it has been done before:

http://www.tfu.info/1989/Decepticon/Skystalker/skystalker.htm

http://www.tfu.info/1989/Autobot/Countdown/countdown.htm

Those familiar with Victory will no doubt recognize those craft to be the Decepticons ship and the Autobots base, respectively.

For the heck of it, a few others(note, I'm using what I assume is the larger vehicles):

http://www.tfu.info/1990/Decepticon/Blackout/blackout.htm

http://www.tfu.info/1989/Decepticon/Skyhopper/skyhopper.htm

http://www.tfu.info/1990/Autobot/Full-Barrel/full-barrel.htm

And of course, a few Actionmasters came with large vehicles:

http://www.tfu.info/1990/Autobot/OptimusPrime/optimusprime.htm

http://www.tfu.info/1990/Decepticon/Megatron/megatron.htm

http://www.tfu.info/1990/Decepticon/Gutcruncher/gutcruncher.htm

So yeah, I'd like to see that done with some larger ships.

wow!! i never knew there was such a plethora of transformers bases and ships out there!!! neat-o guys!! see that's what i like about a forum, there's always someone who knows things others don't.. very cool.. and the Blackout tank/base is my favorite...

I would love a giant ark toy..I would suspend it from the ceiling with a Nemesis behind it, or along side, especially if it came with an attachment that had sparking blaster shoots, similar to the ones you place inside the gun barrels of starwars figures, only they plug into the outer hull of the ships to simulate blaster fire..

actually Makotron's deviant art ship of the ark is pretty nice..

I think they would almost have to be scaled to legends figs.

If they transformed to bases, sort of like the old starwars micro machines playsets, that would be cool.

What about carry cases for legends / WSTF sized figures?

That might be interesting.

Well I'd be satisfied with just a model kit of the Ark and Nemesis big, light up and fully detailed and prepainted like those kits from japan for Star trek..

Yeah a ship of some sort would be cool even if it didn't turn into a base. Just to have the orignial g1 era ships that both autobot and decepticons came to earth on would be cool.

Great Idea!

I heard the Nemisis will be part of Animated, I'm not realy feeling that line at all, but I will keep tabs on that.

However, I'm currently looking to buy a house. Said house MUST have either a large insulated basement or attic which would be dedicated to my collection.

I always wanted to do a large scale set up with The Ark and figure why not :-?

A nice 8x4 piece of plywood for a base, paper mache a volcano, and build the ship and armerments out of old toy parts.

The best part will be on a scale that large, I can cut a hole in the board so I can get inside and do a setup on the inside as well.

Liege thinks big!

Also I'm suprized no one mentioned this yet...
