The newest release.

or maybe Twincast.

Everything else has topped out in value and the margin of gain is now small compared with what you'll pay to play.

I'll tell you the two that I missed out on, and now, I'm kickin' myself in the @ss for.

Destron Minibots: Was >$75, now <$350

and

Anime Astrotrain: Was >$50, now <$450

If you can get them on the cheap, do it!

if you can get them low enough the black and clear starscreams are good for investment, I believe. I could have sold mine at the tfcon easily a few times over. But I wasn't parting with it.

Agreed, cause technically it is a reissue, whereas most e-hobbys are Diaclone colored or just differently colored (though I know technically they could be considered Diaclone reissues).

Oh yeah, truth truth truth. These releases skyrocket in price so quickly it's sad because if you don't buy them immediately they'll cost a million dollars. I've got the black Starscream, Overcharge and Galvatron, and I just got the black Hybrid Convoy and Detritus, but I'm still looking for so many others. I'd say grab whatever e Hobbies you can because you won't really regret it.....even if you don't like them you can hold on to them for a year and sell them for so much more than you bought them for.

Just a slight clarification - the animated (purple) Galvatron reissue was the standard Takara release. eHobby offered the reissue in the toy's and comic's original gray colors.

Right.

The eHobby one came with lil gold sticker that look like electricity to simulate the "insane" Galvatron.

It was to simulate the gold designs shown in his first appearance in TV Magazine.
