Reissue Sixshot Chrome parts scuffed/stained fight out of box?

I recently recieved a reissue sixshot from an ebay auction I won.
But the shiny parts of the wheels have a scuffed stained look to them, and no matter how much I scrub them they look the same.

Any experience in this? Is the stain baked in with the chrome part of the plastic?

I have opened a paypal dispute on the seller since clearly the item was not opened only for inspection but if I can fix it that would save me alot of hassle.

Is it really that bad? Can you post a pic please?

BTW, you should consider the possibility that the seller was telling the truth that the item was only opened for inspection and that the original owner might have played around with it a bit.

Is this the KO sixshot? ... I don't think there's ever been an official reissue.

Generally speaking you shouldn't expect much from a KO. It seems petty to open a dispute about this, unless you paid an awful lot for it.

Yeah, looks like a factory defect. The seller has agreed to refund my money upon recieving the item. It is the takara reissue for those that asked, I never buy KOs.

Shame, I was looking forward to putting him on display.
You cant clean it, it seems to be part of the chrome application or something.

Either way, I am returning it, I will be patient next time and wait until I see a MISB takara reissue Sixshot.

Yeah the chrome should not scuff that easily, something is definitely wrong. I bought mine(or rather my sister bought for me) 20 years ago and the chrome on the wheels is still great.

Same here, I have a vintage Sixshot that has beautiful chrome except that I beat the crap out of it as a kid. I wanted the reissue so I could have a pristine sixshot.

Either way, I will see another eventually. I have seen this kind of thing once or twice on Sonoking releases but not on a Takara Japanese reissue.
