Blackout help!

Ok, so the little leprechaun on my shoulder convinced me to open up the Desert 2-pack. I got Scorponok first, that was a hard transformation. Then I got Blackout...I felt like I was solving DaVinci's code, or something.

Seriously, I already got close to breaking one of the pegs that holds his arms...I can't figure this one out! And his hips? Apparently, his hips are supposed to be able to make a 180, but it didn't seem like they were gonna budge, and I didn't wanna force it. Is there a vid, or something? Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Your Blackout must have issues, cause mine turns around perfectly. Hoewever, are you talking about his waist connecting his hips, or the hips that are connected to the legs? Either way, they both make perfect turns.

BTW, don't listen to that Leprechaun, he'll make you do something really bad one day.... 8)

I mean the piece that his legs are connected to (with the two little flaps). It doesn't turn whatsoever, unless I'm supposed to pop it out of place somehow? I'm just gonna pose him in Robot mode until I figure it out...lol.

Just a lesson for me; don't open figures anymore. :P And get a cat scan...

If I recall, I had the same problem...I forced mine and it popped and all was good with the figure from there on out.

Nothing broke and his legs went 180 easy-shmeesey from then on out.

The thing that STILL gives me probs from time to time is the auto-morph feature with his head pivoting correctly when going into copter mode (sometimes the cockpit isn't even with the rest of the copter, so it needs "adjusting" from time to time)

Other than that, I love the figure...waiting patiently for a LEADER class of him that I hope will come out one day

My first blackout wouldn't turn around. He broke in the process. Second one was a little stiff but came around without a hitch, doing the same exact thing as before. The one thing I noticed on my first one was that when he broke, he looked like he was glued or something, with a clearish crusty look between the two parts.

Dear lord, I did it! I'm staring at Blackout in chopper mode, and it's pretty sweet. Thanks for the tips guys, I just put a little more force on it, and it turned.

The joy of TFs...
