I like him.

His transformation is way to easy, and alt mode kinda blan, but the bot mode is alot of fun!

I use him as the leader class' drone.

I'll have to agree with you, Ricky. Voyager OR Leader, Alt mode OR Robot mode, they don't look at all like the movie. I actually think Leader's alt mode looks worse. You can see the head so easily, and his huge legs are just there under his wings. I'm sure people have vented about this a million times...but it's still sad. No love for the mightiest 'Con.

Voyager Prime? Giant backpack. 'Nuff said...if you don't get it, see the pics of him in robot mode in the galleries. His alt mode is good, though...

I love mine, but it's the silver Best Buy one. The regular/blue one I thought was ok, but nothing to rave about. That's why I returned it once I got the silver one.

Check your local Intertoys, they've recently received both Voyager Prime and Megatron for €30,- each. They're both only one per case though...

Voyager Megs is a good figure, not outstanding but good enough. The G1-esque fusion cannon is a nice touch and I dig the icy bits. His alt mode could've used better hidden legs and wider wings, but is overall quite nice, I like the firing nosecone. He's different enough to pose alongside Leader Megatron, as a lesser relative.

Voyager Prime is a great figure, apart from his backpack. His transformation is unique from the Leader class, with a wonderfully complex transformation for his sleeper cabin/legs. The head sculpt is better than Leader Prime's, with better detailed eyes and wider more accurate proportions. The twin blasters are winners, for they transform along with the figure and attach to his backpack when not in use. The icing on the cake is the tiny driver figure, which disappears when you open the door and appears back by closing it.

I only have the Best Buy one, but taking him out of the box is harder than transforming him. Is there a way to lock his feet in in bot mode?

Gah! If I would have known about the metallic Best Buy Megatron, I would have waited for that one instead of the regular Voyager. It's amazing what a different paintjob can do.

As it stands, I actually like my Voyager Megatron quite a bit. He's become the black sheep of the movie line, but I think he's pretty impressive to look at in robot mode. The blue paint doesn't look all that bad and I even like the ice, though if would have looked better if it seemed to envelop parts of Megatron, as it does on the wings, instead of just sitting on top of his chest and shins. Movie Megatron definitely looks *different*, and I would be comfortable with a kid playing with it, unlike Ironhide or Blackout.

As for the alt mode......well, it sucks, but the snapping wings gimmick is pretty decent.

I really like the figure myself. He's not perfect, but he's a great figure, ice and all. And the backpack really isn't that bad compared to some figures. *Looks at Voyager Prime*

No, there's not, but his weight should be more than sufficient to keep them in place.

Well the premium Metallic one is the only one that I own..and in my opinion is the best and makes the toy a worthwhile purchase...

I don't like the mold, but the Best Buy version is super sweet to keep MISB.

the best thing about the mold is that you can get his gun to look G1-ish

voyager prime is pretty cool! the backpack isn't really that distracting. and the articulation of the arms and legs enable VOP to do cool poses! the double rifles are the best!

Jin Had A Nice Custom In Which He Removed The Backpack Very Easily

I Have Not Done This to Mine But Im Going To Stick With Voyager. I Feel The Robot Mode and Armor along With Proportions Are Closer To Prime In The Movie. The Leader Class Just Has Too Much Bulk Everywhere.

I love my Voyager Megs. Of course, he is the Best Buy Metallic version. The regular Voyager just looked cheap and lame to me, and while the Leader was impressive, that bland grey plastic just turned me off. Metallic Megs though is awesome to display in robot mode. He's actually one of my favorite figures in this line.

My friends went to this big toy shop in Hongkong to search for TF toys. Particularly Movie toys. Their observation was, almost all Movie toys are selling like hotcakes. Very difficult to find them. As soon as the shops restock, collectors from Mainland China will descend down upon Hongkong, and sweep the shops clean.

Except for Movie Megatron.

Both Leader and Voyager.

Leader Megatron fares better. A couple of toys makes the sale.

But for Voyager Megatron? Zero. Zilch. The Chinese didn't even touch it. (According to the toy shop staff)

So the best place to find Voyager Megatron is Hongkong. :)

I wish I had kept my Best Buy Megatron MISB. The alt mode is awful and he's so small it looks weird displaying him with the rest of the line.

I like my voyager Megatron.
He doesn't take up that much room and he still strikes fear
into his subordinates.
